El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Conquistador Course

Beginning of the front nine was not Mark very well. Difficult to find number 3 teebox

Greens in great shape. Fairways didn't look green but were soft, well watered, and in really good shape, just looked brown for some reason. Tee boxes were in great shape as well. I like this course a lot. Challenging yet playable. I will be back to play here again. Only complaint was that the driving range tee box was trash. It looked more like saw dust and dirt that it did a driving range. Other than that the course is well taken care of!

The El Conquistador golf course is as good a golf course as you can expect for the price. The fairways and greens are excellent. You can pay more money to play elsewhere but you won’t be able to tell the deference in the quality.

First time playing this course and had a really good time! Course was in great condition. Lots of elevated greens and undulation in the fairways. Sort of over run by seniors but place of play was still great. Practice facilities are really nice. Really nice views or the mountains from some tee boxes also. Overall a fun track. Seems like you will always have a shot and not lose balls if you miss the fairway.

The course was in decent shape though the fairways will certainly benefit from the upcoming Monsoon. Fairways were pretty thin and the greens slow.

Conditions were good Fairways and pin positions fair. I would recommend!

Pace of play was reasonable and the course is in good condition . The staff is friendly and allowed us to each have a cart. We chose to play here to support the City of Oro Valley and their decision to keep the course open. Thank you! BTW the views of the mountains are beautiful.

This is a country club style course that is also open to the public. The reality in golf is that money usually dictates corse layout and conditions. Plus, membership clubs have to budget and not make the course so hard than the member feel beaten up all the time. That said, this is a fair course with 36 holes. It just cannot compete with the resorts that have corporate pockets and higher fees to pay for architecture and superb conditions. It can be a real challenge but be prepared for some bare spots and a few patchy greens. Nice views of the mountains on many holes. Nice course and would go back for a bargain price.

Excellent course with a solid variety. Hitting fairways will be key. The course was in great shape.

I’m so glad they’re open! Golf course in great shape & staff was as helpful as they could be while practicing social distancing. All are taking great care to keep staff & golfers safe, happy & healthy.

It was a beautiful day to be outdoors.

Played a nice morning round at el conquistador today and it was great. Course was wide open, no one within 2 holes of us in front or behind. Course was in good shape. Finished in under 3 hours and enjoyed every second of it. Great to be able to enjoy this beautiful course during these tough times!

Course in good shape. Few golfers due to virus. Speed of play was excellent

My issue isn’t with the.course, but when we checked in, they did not acknowledge my other 3 of the foursome even though we had proof we had all prepaid. So Golf Now has a glitch in their system that needs improvement. I’m giving the course a “C+” and Golf Now an “F”. It is supposed to be convenient using Golf Now, but in our case it wasn’t convenient at all. I wasn’t going to write this, but you asked. You should know improvement is needed.

Course was not in great shape , greens are bumpy , waste areas are not groomed with lots of weeds , no snack bar for treats and beverages , only one cart girl visit in 4 hour round . Course has lots of potential but needs a lot of attention . The Canada course appeared to be in better shape !!
