El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Conquistador Course

Lots of sand and elevated greens make it a real challenge.

Very slow greens, liked the layout, fairways in good shape, lots of green grass. I want to play the Canada soon.

Excellent course to play. Fun for all levels. Perfect for women golfers. Greens Bent-grass and excellent. Staff and pro shop outstanding. A must play for all golfers.

The course was in great shape, practice facility is nice they have a cart that offers food and refreshments and the staff is friendly as if they appreciate you golfing there. if you are looking for aplesent experience I would recommend it highly over any of the Saddlebrooke courses.

The course is in great shape, and despite season and crowd, the pace of play was good. Drink cart passed twice in the round, which is better than most. Only ‘con’ was having to wait to hit range balls since all stations were filled or no balls available.

We played the Conqistador 18. The greens are much better than a year ago. Apparently they have over seeded with a new Tif bent grass and it shows. No bare spots, etc.

The course was in good shape. Harder and prettier than I remembered. Elevated greens presented a challenge in club selection. Would definitely recommend and will get my revenge next time I play there

The course is in good shape, but of the last 6 times we have played the Conquistador courses, we have had cart problems on 3 of them. Twice the battery died and we had to have them bring out another cart; the 3rd time we were able to get back by having my wife get out and walk and hoping! This is not good! Our playing partners had to have their cart changed (mid-round) due to a flat tire.

I've only played the Conquistador course one other time in recent years and I think I prefer their Canada course. The fairways were good but areas around the greens were wet with either bare or tufted grass. The greens were good and rolled well. A half way house would be nice, since you do not return to the clubhouse after the front nine. I'll probably go back, but try to play the Canada course next time.

Beautiful course in excellent shape. Always appreciate the friendliness of the staff, starter, etc.

All holes are unique and challenging. Putting requires a little local knowledge because many putts break differently than you would read. It's a fun course, but requires skill sets that beginners won't have.

I recently played the El Conquistador Course at the Oro Valley El Conquistador golf complex.

Course conditions were outstanding!

The greens were smooth and true and the fairways were like carpet!

Will definitely return and recommend it to friends.
