Crooked Tree Golf Course

Played here for the third time . Fairways and greens were in good shape. Tee boxes a little uneven .Pace of play excellent for a crowded day, finished in 4 hours. Some people complain about having grass bunkers around the greens but we thought they were an improvement over dirt, rocky bunkers at other courses. No bag boys available so you have to carry your bag to your car.

Overall, pretty good. No beverage cart, and grass instead of sand were the downside. Players of all types can enjoy this course.

I like this course and when it’s in decent shape, it can be a good track, It’s getting a bit dried out now, but the fairways are still green. The biggest issue we always run into is pace of play. It’s always backed up and very slow; rangers are never monitoring groups and you’re always waiting for the group ahead to tee off. You always lose your rhythm. At least post a sign; please be courteous to other players and maintain your pace of play.

Looks like they did a good overseed. Greens were very fast. I never did adjust!

No sand. Fairways long grass with no roll. Greens were good. A little hard.

Good flat walking course. No crappy desert dirt bunkers; now the greenside bunkers are deep grass. The course cannot be made longer, so the greens are being cut smaller. That's the challenge.

We were all very satisfied with the course conditions the pace of play and everything involved. Will definitely be going back.

Got blessed to play with a great couple from Scotland. Pace of play was great on back 9. Could use some marshaling at this course.

Front 9 was in disrepair. Maintenance crew followed me for entire front nine spraying fertilizer. Loud and not conducive to a relaxing afternoon or my golf game. Greens we’re rough. At one point I was teeing off on par 3 and they walked onto the green with ball in flight, landing within 5 feet of them.

Back 9 was great. Greens rolled well and no loud maintenance following me around.

The staff was so kind and the pace was perfect. A party of 3 and we finished in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Didn’t have to wait. The greens are picking up speed as the grass is coming in.
