Extremely overpriced
Course was way overpriced. Got behind a 5 some who never offered our 3 some to play through. We jumped in front of them at the turn when they stopped at the clubhouse. They didn’t seem happy about us hitting when they got to the tee. We played the front 9 in over 2 hours and the back 9 in 70 minutes. It is a par 62, 3000 yards.
Great Alternative
Want to play golf in 3 hours on a reasonable course with friendly staff? This is a good choice!
Fun Sunday
My wife took me and my daughter and son in law to this course for my birthday. I hadn’t golfed in a while so this was a good course to get my feet wet in. The staff was very friendly, the course was good, and we enjoyed our day.
Nice warm up
We just arrived in town and wanted a more forgiving course before we played dedert target golf. Dorado was what I expected... short and conditions fitting the cost of play. I would play there again.
Relaxed atmosphere
There was a delay at the start, so we were about 3 or 4 party's back. There were a few holes that got backed up during the day, but nobody was pushing each other and everyone was very relaxed and patient, which I can't always say about the city courses, where a lot of times people are in a hurry and the staff attemps to push as many people through as fast as they can. All in all it was a beautiful day and a very enjoyable round of golf.
Good Short Course
Great to play for those that are not long off the tee. Short distances are good for your ego! Very enjoyable day. Few players made enjoyable for not being pushed. Three hours or so, even though taking our time.
Great Par 3 and 4 course!
This was a fun course! I would recommend walking vs a golf cart- Every staff member was friendly and great customer service.
Frustrating
Not fun when when you have 3 groups waiting to tee off at almost every box.
Dorado
Course was in great shape, staff was courteous, computers were down but let me go ahead and play, came back after the round and paid my fee! Staff is always appreciative here and very helpful!
Rough Shape
I was staying in tucson and decided to play this course as it was by where I was staying. The greens were maybe the worst I have played. The fairways were average, cart paths non-existent, and dirt patches throughout. The greens were “shaggy” with weeds coming through the turf grass. Some had super rough patches and missing grass all together.
Bad conditions
Sprinklers were on and greens were in bad shape with no notice or discount
