The River Club

Another great round at this course. In good shape and the value is fantastic. The only negative is on Mondays the range closes at 2 for a clinic. Wish that was posted somewhere because I couldn’t hit a few balls before playing

Good course, but already starting to get very crowded. Pace of play was just a little slower, but with a full tee sheet it was to be expected.

Course is in great shape post hurricane Milton. Staff is always friendly. Good value for the price. Not sure if the ranger was having a bad day but his attitude was poor, pace of play was 7-14 min behind. But he felt the need to blame our group. We were paired with a kid and his aunt so we were a little slow but we’re playing ready golf and we always saw the group ahead of us and behind whenever we were on the tee or the green. Only suggestion would be to extend some geofence on the carts, lots of areas in play that you can’t get to via cart and it’s added frustration only because it’s excessive

The group loved it. I had 3 buddies come into town for work and we all decided to play this course. Needless to say, it was not like the normal Texas courses. There were lots of options off the tee versus "teeing it high and letting it fly" on most Texas courses. We will definitely add this one to the yearly list.

Great layout. Beware of the water. Great conditions. Will play regularly from now on.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The course was in good condition, tees mostly good, a couple of greens early on had some small patches of recent sanding possibly as a result of the recent storms but apart from that the greens were good and rolled well with good speed. The fairways had a good coverage of grass and we usually play preferred lies on vacation but there was no need on this course. We will play there again as it's decent golf at a fair price.

Although we had a tee time the starter put us back and let a big group start before us. Then the pace was very slow. We spent 5 hours for 18 holes.
