The Preserve Golf Club

I will never complain about a course unless there was some unexpected event that ruins the experience. In this courses case, I knew going in they had 16 of 18 temp greens and some issues around the tee boxes, BUT, I already knew the issues from what I read and the $20 fee I paid on Golf Now was a dead giveaway. I have been down to the area for the month and played a lot of great courses. This was the day before I had to head north back to winter. Just wanted to get one more (inexpensive) round in. Played myself at 7:30am and finished in just over 2 hours.

Perfect. Just what I needed.

There is a need for this kind of course. If someone is new to the game and want to get out on a real course or you are on a budget.

The course is under construction on 16 of the 18 holes so the condition of the course is not good.

I am *lad that they are wooden on the course but it is not worth the price they charge. I quit after 9 holes.

The greens are temporary but puttable. They have been working for the last 2 years on this issue. Play at your own risk.

Hard pan fairways, mostly Temp greens, conditions are terrible, do not waste your time here

I’ve played this course a hundred times Always loved the layout

Haven’t played there in years because of the conditions

Yesterday I gave it a shot because I heard they hv been renovating

Understand that the grass is dormant

Fairways were 7/10 with grass in 90% of the fairways although cut extremely tight

Tee boxes were fine

The greens would be 3/10. Played 16 temporary greens which were cut low

Most if the greens under repair were top dressed so I assume they were punched. I saw a couple of greens that I thought could have been opened I would give it another 2 weeks to see if they open the greens

Still it was certainly worth the price to get some swings in

The course is under new ownership that is doing all the right things to bring this course back to its original great form. 16 of 18 greens are temporarily closed but the temporary greens roll extremely well. By next season this course will be one you’ll seek to play! Not to mention it’s a bargain!!

Played this course last year grate shape this year the course is fixing up 16 of the 18 greens .

So 16 temporary greens fairways a little burnt out, but that’s because they haven’t had much rain. I hope it comes back. It’s a great course challenging with the number of the holes they have.

They are constantly working on the course. It's getting better all the time. Fairways are good and new greens are getting close to done.

Worst course I’ve ever played.

Only two regular greens, the rest temporary. No hope that the greens will ever come back!

Horrible course, not kept up at all, we could barely tell where the farway was and the rough started. There were so many small temporary putting greens some with plastic sprinkler covers close to the hole. The real putting greens that were not usable were bumpy and didn't look anywhere close to being playable any time soon. The people working there were very nice, but I don't believe I will be going back anytime soon.

Course is in poor condition, at least 15 temporary greens. See some progress being made. New tracks on bridges, white sand in bunkers. Rate reflecks condition.

All Temporary greens, was not fun not a good time.

The course in good conditions except you are playing with temporary greens, but they are playable.

Have to say the staff at preserve is trying things are looking good, but the greens are in terrible condition. The temporary greens are the best I’ve ever seen anywhere but really looking forward to playing when the greens are completed.
