Highlands Reserve Golf Club

This is a nice and fun track with challenging greens depending on what time of year you play here.

#2 is a fun drivable par 4 and there are a couple reachable par 5s.

There are some brown and dirt type areas which aren’t desirable but it doesn’t take away from the fun of the golf course.

Pace of play is always great. Usually 4 hours, sometimes less.

What I really like about this course is that each hole has its own character. It’s not boring. And keeps you enagaged.

Great track. Love playing it. Only complaints are slow greens, pins are not set properly and bunkers need some depth.

Course in good condition , slow pace, greens very soft but in good condition. They rolled somewhat slow.. But in good shape.

The course is a favorite of mine. It reminds me of golfing up north. It’s an actual golf course not a trail of fairways lined with homes on both sides. My only knock on them is that the frequently close up the clubhouse in early afternoon. I made the turn at 3:30pm, it was scorching hot out and the club house was closed. Couldn’t buy a water, beer or Gatorade. My opinion is that if you have golfers on the course there ought to be a way to get a drink. I have run into this before at Highland Reserve. It is a nice course, employees are nice, value is good, just don’t leave us hanging by closing up the club house everyday at 3pm.

Played this course many times over the years when visiting. Been a bit up and down. But they really seem to be going the right way now. Greens had a great grass covering. Played a little slow, but rolled great. All credit to the greens team for getting them in this condition. Well done.

Played here for15 years successive and the greens this year are simply outstanding. Friendly staff.

Overall, would say the course was in pretty good condition! However, I did feel the greens were slow. I would definitely play again, and I definitely would recommend the course to others.

Starter was chill, and gave great advice about the course! I liked how the nines were split up between the road..lots of sand out there! Very well placed bunkers. Only gripe was that range balls were $7, but it was a cheap tee time so I can’t be too mad about it. Overall, had a good time!

Greens good, bit slow. Fairways, rough, tee boxes all weedy, spotty. Decent value for the money.

Course is in good condition. Greens were very nice although a bit slower than expected. Pace was SLOW....waited on every hole.No rangers on course expediting play (that can be improved). Cart girl was available and made several stops throughout the round. Pro shop staff, as usual very friendly.

Played this course in 2015 while staying at Highland Reserves. Nice to be back. They changed the routing so hole 1 is now 10. Recognized it. I like the course, everything well organized. Low profile but in good condition. Greens not to fast but fair. Nice variety of holes. Glad playing again here.

Greens were on the slow side but I fantastic shape.

Courses in fantastic shape greens are perfect fairies cut just right rough is punishable sand traps are great. A must play

Laid out well and spread out. Not too busy for a Sunday. I will definitely be coming back here.
