Outstanding course
I have driven by this course on I-95 many times and finally decided to give it a try. I am sorry I waited so long. I have played many excellent courses in Florida and this is the equal of ANY of them. A great experience from the bag drop to leaving for home. Very pleasant staff, older but maintained facilities, and excellent course conditions. This is worth at least an hour or so drive if you live in Florida, and a detour on your way south if you are heading to south Fl. from the north.
Great conditions. FAST Greens......
We were scheduled to tee off at 10:03 and we hit the ball exactly on time. Great greeting from the Bag Drop guy, it's so nice to see this is a standard there, very courteous and helpful. Checked in and the pro shop attendant was also helpful and very courteous. He offered advise about the conditions and apologized for being cart path only (We had a huge storm the night before play). Told us about the specials in the pro shop and I really appreciated the professionalism. The starter had us off exactly on time and again gave some local knowledge recommendations. Really a very positive experience. I will play this course more often. In the past ownership, the course was allowed to go down hill but this new group has really made a difference. I expect this course will quickly become a local favorite. Good job
Good course
I would definitely recommend this golf course fore the average golfer. Nice course for the price.
great wildlife
My first time here and first time since the death of my golfing partner. Have not played 18 holes in a couple of years. The greeting by the staff started things out on a positive note. Ice offered for cart cooler and ice at each rest room stop is available. I play to enjoy the game and be outdoors, not serious enough for some players, I am sure. I will be back.
Great Course!
The course is in great shape. Greens roll well, fairways are lush, and the rough is fair. Very happy with the price as well. Great value.
THIS COURSE IS CHALLENGING AND GOOD
I PLAYED 18 HOLES ON THIS COURSE AND WAS CHALLENGED THE ENTIRE TIME. THE GREENS WERE DECEPTIVELY FAST. CHIPPING FROM THE ROUGH WAS A CHALLENGE BECAUSE THE GRASS WAS SOFT AND DEEP. THE BALL HAD TO BE PLAYED FORWARD AND HIGH IN YOUR STANCE BECAUSE IT WOULD RUN ON THE GREENS.
I DID NOT EAT IN THE CLUB HOUSE, BUT WHEN I WENT IN, THE PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COURSE.
Nice course
The course was in good shape. Cart paths need some repairs.
Best course and value in the area
Indigo Lakes is hands down the best course of the dozen or so I've played in the greater Daytona area. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, from the club house to the grounds crew. The course was in immaculate shape and the greens some of the best I've ever played – anywhere! I will absolutely be back soon, and if I lived here, I'd look into becoming a member.
Very nice course
This was my first time playing Indigo Lakes and I played with 2 friends. The staff was extremely friendly and the course was in great shape. The greens roll pretty fast, and the par 3's added a nice challenge since most of them have water at some point. A great course that I will play again.
Small greens
The greens have been shrunk down considerably since the last time i was there. Some bunkers have been groomed and others have not. Overall the course is in good shape but with so many others to play in the area, i wouldnt play here again for awhile.
This course is making a comeback.
Good layout, well bunkered with small greens. Forgiving off the tee but accurate approach shots are required if you want to score well here. This is a Lloyd Clifton design that was once known as the premier course in Daytona in the late 70's and 80's until it fell into disrepair. An infusion of money from new investors approximately 2 years ago is paying off with very good turf conditions and excellent greens. I would recommend this course.
My only complaint is the frequent practice of a group of older regulars who stop for a full lunch at the turn and then flood the 10th tee en masse disrupting the flow of players making the turn and creating slow play on the back nine. Management needs to address this practice.
Birthday round
Indigo is a very good course. Wide fairways and nice short grass. Cart woman was ever present which I like on a hot day, though the welcome rain shower cooled us off just enough. Too bad greens were aerated a little, or also seeded. Even so, they putted very true. Also enjoyed the fox we saw out for a stroll. Eager to come back and lower my score.
enjoyable
very warm day but quiet on the course let a 3some play thru and never saw anyone behind me until 16. The Gm is doing a great job and is probably the nicest guy around met him 2 months ago and he was a stellar man. The course is groomed nicely and the beverages were cold. I will go back again soon.
Indigo Lakes Review
Played the coarse while vscationing in Daytona. Great greens! Quick and well maintained. Played a threesome and the Blue Tees. 94 bunkers was a little excessive and maybe too much for the average golfer.
nice course
I was in Daytona with my daughter and her children and wanted to play. I looked at several courses and settled on this one. Glad I did.
They paired me with two local guys that were fun and helpful getting me around the course.
The course is very fair. Nice landing areas for your tee shot. Small greens on some holes but not crazy.
I have some friends at home and we are always looking for courses in nice locations to visit. I would definitely recommend this course to my buddies to play. It was hot but it gets that way in the summer in Daytona. Duh.
I think they charged me $31.00 to play or something like that. Tee time was around 9 am.
I'm glad I chose Indigo Lakes.
Great pace of play
The starting time was observed very well. The course was in very good shape. Greens were fast and accurate.Rough was deep and may not have been cut for several weeks.
Great layout with a friendly staff . A great test of golf
Played here last winter numerous times. Golf course was always in great shape and the staff was super friendly.
Good course for the money
We play this course every year we come down for our coaches clinic. The staff is always great. The course is in really good condition for the price. Great, challenging layout.
