Indigo Lakes Golf Club

After reading the reviews for Indigo Lakes on GolfNow, I was a little leery of playing here but the newer reviews were very good so I decided to try it. This is by far the nicest and best condition course I've played in the area and I've played about 10. The course was in immaculate shape, the greens were the best I've played (rivals LPGA), very fast and true. And the aesthetics of the course are beautiful with lots of lakes and greenery.
The only negative to me was that some of the holes run along 95 but that's a nit-pick. My ratings were based on playing early morning, playing alone and riding. It took me 3 hours for 18 holes. And the staff were fantastic.

Played 18 holes early Sunday morning and the course was in great shape. I have played this course several times over the years and I have to say that the new owners have done a magnificant job bringing this course back to where it should be. The grounds were well kept and the fairways and greens were what a golfer would expect. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. It's nice to have another great course to play.

I had played this course about 7 years ago and decided I would not return. However, after reading some of the recent reviews I decided to give it another try. The course is much better. Conditions were good, greens fast but bunkers do need some work (drainage is an issue). We were an early AM 2some, caught a 4some on 7 and they let us through on 13 and we were still done in 2:45.

Driven by this course a hundred times. Decided this trip to play it. What a wonderful surprise! No level spots on the greens...3 to 4 footers where always challenging. Fairways where in excellent condition. Bring extra balls...

I had last played here about 7 years ago and was never going to return but after reading recent reviews I decided to give it another chance. Course is in good condition. Greens in great shape and fast. Tees and fairways good and coming along from overseeding. Bunkers in need of some work as drainage appears to be an issue. Pace of play was 2:45 (as a twosome) and that was after waiting on 7 holes for the 4some ahead of us before they let us play through.

Great course. It is the former LPGA course so it is quite challenging. It was very wet from 2 days of rain but the greens were rolled and were in great shape even with the rain. I played 18 here and headed to the LPGA course in the afternoon and it was a great way to start the day and I would definitely play here again. Extremely friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure you enjoyed the round.

I had played Indigo years ago and was quite put off by the conditions and thought I would never be back. However, I read some of the recent reviews and with a golf now deal I thought I would give it another shot. I'm glad I did. The conditions were good, greens very fast. We played in the AM (2-some) and played through a foursome after being on their tail for 8 holes and played in 2:45.

Played on a Sunday afternoon and it moved fairly well. Fairways not bad and greens pretty good. Condition of bunkers was less than desirable. Want to give props to the starter. After I told him that my playing partner was new at this game, I asked him not to pair us up with anyone so as not to slow down other players. He was agreeable and his courtesy showed. Thanks

Although there was some standing water due to the rain in past couple if days, course still played well.

Excellent course conditions for December. Greens very fast and challenging this time out, much more so than in the past.

course has come backed from poor to very good conditions.Pace of play is good,I enjoy the course every time i play it.All of the holes are not the same,with trees and water,not just open with a few palm trees here and there.I pass it on to all my fellow golfs.

Loved the tree-lined fairways. Holes had a great variety of looks, enough water for a challenge and add to the atmosphere. This course is great value.

This course is making a comeback from formerly rather poor conditioning. Very significant improvement has been made to the greens -- this time fairly fast and smooth with no bare areas. Fairways and bunkers were in generally good condition though drainage still needs some attention in a few areas. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Altogether a rather pleasant round.

nice day of golf, played in a twosome in 3hr40min, peek-a-boo rough is a little tough.

This is a nice golf course--WHEN ITS THE DRY SEASON---dec., jan., feb., ect... In the summer months, bring your snorkel,fins,and mask, or at least, your hip waders....Very wet, some cart paths are even under water, soggy is the primary word. Muddy is next in line for word of the day...again, when it dry, its nice. They have sprinkler systems here, but I doubt they ever have to use it! There was no cart girl, or snack bar at the turn---there was a coke machine at the rest rooms, and a cooler of ice, but no cups??. I'll go again--in the winter.....

Great course! On a few holes the houses seemed a little close, but other than that no major complaints.

Played on a Saturday, 11 am tee time. Walked right on, no waiting around all day. Course was in good condition. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in good condition. Course isn't overly difficult, which I like. Will definitely be back. Recommend this course to anyone in the area.
