First round of 2017
Enjoy this course very much. Greens where a little tricky at first but got use to them. Great day on the golf course...pitched one in for a birdie.
Pleasantly surprised
Greens were is good shape and fairways a bit brown but playable. Pace of play was excellent.
Worthy value play
Played the course on a weekend at 9:30… The course wasn't crowded. I got worried… Figured the place was in rough shape. Actually I was satisfied with the course conditions, the greens were in pretty good shape, the rest of the course was an average condition but for the price I would say it was better than expected. The fairways are pretty wide in the driving area...and while the course isn't too challenging, it lays out for a pretty relaxing round, or a good warm-up course for a golf trip…
A good average course
This is a long course for the average golfer. I played off the blue tees and it was a challenge to make the greens in regulation!
Pace of play was slow but our 3-some managed to go around in under 4 1/2 hours hours.
The greens are in poor shape and slow, but the fairways are in good condition.
The price is right and I'll go again
The greens are in terrible shape. Fairways so, so. A lot of divots. Will never play there again.
One of my favorite courses for almost 30 years. I really like it and highly recommend it to locals and visitors.
1st time player
Enjoyed the layout. People were friendly, pace was good. Some greens had a lot of bare spots but I enjoyed the round and would play it again.
Good time
Wide forgiving fairways, groomed sand bunkers, green medium speed greens.
Back to Indigo Lakes
Came back to Daytona Beach for Spring Break. Played at Indigo Lakes last year. I don't know how the fairway should be during this time of the year in Florida; but lots of send under the grass. On Hole 11 Par 5 shot an Eagle chip. Unfortunately no witnesses except for a beautiful hawk. It's a simple course with a good layout. All 18 greens were in great condition. I was deciding between the LPGA courses and other local courses, but decided to come back to Indigo.
Indigo Lakes
Well laid out course with interesting holes. Greens better than most in FL this time of year. Fairways very thin. Traps ok. Pace of play very slow.
Nice course
We enjoyed playing this course on a near perfect golf day. There was just the right amount of challenge for an average golfer..some water, lots of traps. Most greens were in erasable shape. They have a course marshal Whois definitely doing a great job.
First time and not last
First time playing Inidigo. It was a nice layout, nice fairway and tee box grass. The greens were not as good but still very playable. Will go back.
Disappointing
Having played this course several times since new ownership, I was disappointed in the condition. They hide behind the damage caused by hurricane Matthew, but downed trees do not cause the condition of the greens and fairways (bordering on terrible). I get constant emails to come back and play, but unless things drastically improve, there are a lot of better courses in the area to spend my money on. Sad. Its a great layout and former home of the LPGA.
Great day
Our group had a great day of golf, met at bag drop very friendly starter, beverage and snacks offered every 3-4 holes, awesome food and service in restaurant, teaching pro took time to talk and answer questions about course. Look forward to future rounds.
Early Morning Round
I believe we were the second golfers out this morning.
We showed up right at tee time, however the starter was kinda pushy, didn't give us the time to get our stuff ready. Just hit the ball.. no one behind us. The course had a beautiful mist over it, absolutely fantastic. greens had a little sand, still rolled true.
I'll return here....
Greens getting a little rough
Course was very challenging but the greens are getting a little rough. Great restaurant and staff
