Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

The drought has made this course rough
Very dry and the tee boxes were like a desert. No cart service
Rained Out
It started to rain on the first hole, then stopped. After a few holes it rained buckets and continued without stop. I had to drive back to the clubhouse drenched. No more golf that day.
In decent condtiopn
Played at 1:00. Greens were smooth and fast. However you can tell they need water. Were getting brown in some locations. Tee boxes and fairways were in decent condition, but again very dry. All things considered this course is still very playable compared to many others in the bay area.
Nice Course
Overall I enjoyed the course. It's one of those that is built within a community, and weaves in and out of the homes. Not a standalone course.
Everything was well maintained and the staff was friendly.
Slow
We quit there is no ranger so people just do whatever they want.
The group in front of us, were playing some kind of game, and took for ever on the tee box and on the green.
It appears that this is the norm now, almost every where we go lots of people that clearly need lessons and learn golf etiquette are everywhere.
Is it just in Florida???
Challenging Course
I am an 18 handicap - was pretty impressed with the layout and the condition of the greens. Fairways and tee boxes were in rough shape but arguably, there has been little rain recently. All of the many ponds, where the irrigation comes from, were only half full. We played from the back tees which made the course even more challenging as evidenced by a 265yd par three with about a 225 carry over water (I missed the carry by about 12inches!). Fun course and challenging layout from the gold tees. Would recommend.
Good course as always
Played here many times. Course in very good shape considering the lack of rain.
Tee boxes beat up some. Fairways are super dry and you hit most shots off barren ground. Greens in good condition. Driest I have ever seen here.
Descent in view of our local drought issues we’ve had lately.
All in all not bad. Greens were in good shape and they played faster than they look. As with all courses in this area (public of course) there was hard pan and many areas outside of the fairways and greens that are difficult to hit out of. Cool layout though. I played the gold tees which tap out at 6800. Blues are about 6000. So not a very long course but challenging enough. Good course for the money.
Nice Layout
Nice course and secluded holes. Greens rolled true.
Pro shop and Staff were very nice. Worth the money
