About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Great Course
Beginner golfer, this was my first proper round of golf. Course was in great condition and the weather was perfect. Group total was 2/3 players (one player only played a quarter of the round) and we consistently had people behind us, even letting two groups play ahead of us.
I would go again, although I wish there was just a bit more spacing between groups.
slow
Pace of play was horrible. Almost 6 hrs for a round. Hard to stay focused like that. Waiting on every shot. Have played here many times and like the course, but needs more course management.

Great value
Excellent value. Out with a two-some. Played in 3:35. This is a challenging course. It is Florida in October...so some patchy spots on fairways and greens. Lots of water and sand hazards. Lots of carries over junk. Fun time...and weather was perfect for October.
Super value
Challenging course with 15 of 18 holes having water in play. Lots of challenging approached. Good amount of sand too. Course in decent shape. Some greens with a little patchy crabgrass.
Nice tight course
Conditions are good and greens are small. Great place to work on your distances.
Conditions Improving
I have played here MANY times. Just reporting that the condition of the course has improved-from tees to fairways to greens. Some traps were shoddy but most looked pretty good. Recommended.
Beautiful Day
The course is in excellent shape. The course layout is very challenging and they could use more directional signs for where holes are located. I will be back

Layout great little sandy greens but great day of golf good course will definitely play golf there again.
Unimpressed
I read a recent review that was somewhat negative and I agree wholeheartedly.. The greens were good but had weed patches on them. The sand traps had weeds growing in them and the edges had foot high weeds growing. The fairways had many bare spots and had weeds instead of nice fairway grass. It wasn't worth the fees they charged. I liked the layout but the upkeep leaves a minus. I will not play there again.
Scruffy and Difficult
I hadn’t played it since before covid and usually in a scramble. The course is a little rundown with weeds creeping in the fairways and bunkers. Greens were good. The good news is they probably aren’t using a lot of chemicals.
I forgot how sneaky difficult it plays. We finished in 3.5 hours. Bar and restaurant is good.
Will play again
Clippings everywhere
This round, I found that there was an excess of grass clippings everywhere. Was particularly annoying when chipping and putting. Otherwise, it was better than being in work.
