Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Great round
Course is great except they just punched the greens so they were like putting on the beach. Otherwise course is in good shape.
Great Value Course
A decent track that has some tee boxes, fairways, and greens need some TLC, but for ~$40, it was better than I expected. Nice water range and putting green to warm up on, too.
I have played her a handful of other times and did not experience this, but the last time I have had to leave at the turn due to overbooking and no real starter enforcing that groups tee off on scheduled time or a marshal enforcing pace of play. Basically it was check-in and you were free to go right to first tee box regardless of your groups tee time. If you get out to Heritage Harbor on a “slow” day, it’s a great experience for the money. I am just not sure how you determine that, and with no real enforcement of anything, pace of play may drag your round up to 5-6 hours.
The course have been aerated and had not the front nine and I've been mowed at all.
Beware aerorating greens
Greens covered in sand you have to hammer your putts to make it even close to the hole.
the course was in pretty good shape. really enjoy playing there at a good price.
Pace of PlY
Although I shouldn’t complain as I went out as a single. There was a very slow 2 some in front of me that wouldn’t let me play through. Wouldn’t hurt to have a ranger make an occasional ride to speed things up
The drought has made this course rough
Very dry and the tee boxes were like a desert. No cart service
Rained Out
It started to rain on the first hole, then stopped. After a few holes it rained buckets and continued without stop. I had to drive back to the clubhouse drenched. No more golf that day.
In decent condtiopn
Played at 1:00. Greens were smooth and fast. However you can tell they need water. Were getting brown in some locations. Tee boxes and fairways were in decent condition, but again very dry. All things considered this course is still very playable compared to many others in the bay area.
Nice Course
Overall I enjoyed the course. It's one of those that is built within a community, and weaves in and out of the homes. Not a standalone course.
Everything was well maintained and the staff was friendly.
Slow
We quit there is no ranger so people just do whatever they want.
The group in front of us, were playing some kind of game, and took for ever on the tee box and on the green.
It appears that this is the norm now, almost every where we go lots of people that clearly need lessons and learn golf etiquette are everywhere.
Is it just in Florida???
