Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Have not played here in a while
Golf course is as fun and challenging as I remembered. Pace of play was standard. Greens are fast, fairways are mowed. Sand traps have sand in them. Nice, well maintained course. The highlight was the restaurant/bar at the course, the 19th hole, Double Bogeys. Lots of beer draft choices and a variety of foods to order. Food was great and service was fast and friendly. Satisfying day on the course and good food and drink after.!
Fun and challenging
Amazing fall foliage mountain course, first time played here and really enjoyed my round , will back play again in the future.
Cool
Back 9 is challenging but fun, overall fairway and green in good condition and enjoy my round..
start
right from the start!!! we haven't played in at least 1 year. got there alittle early only because we forget it is not far. No problem load up and gentlemen in pro shop said go and enjoy!!!!! WE DID Thank you. John Havens
Good Value
I've played this course ~10 times now. This was the first time I've played it from the blue tees. It's a short course, so the blues are still not that long. Overall I would say this course has a fairly interesting layout, in that there is a variety of hole design. That being said, I would not consider this a difficult course, and I'm a 24 handicap.
Pace of play was not great, we waited on litcherally every shot on the front 9.
Course condition was very good. Some of the tee boxes were fairly torn up, but you could always at least find a level patch of grass from which to tee off. Bunkers had great sand in them, The fairways were lush and did not have bald patches or boggy wet spots. The highlight was the greens. They were fast - even in the morning before the dew burned off. They got a little faster as they dried out. They rolled very true and I litcherally saw only one dead spot on a green on the entire course.
Heritage Harbor Coming Back Nicely
Course is in fairly good shape, which is an improvement. Greens rolled fast and true, bunkers are bad everywhere, but that's nothing new for most FL courses. Pace of play was very good. Overall a good value and happy to see HH improving after a tough couple of years.
Greens were in good shape running quick and true. Its clear the course is working on getting the fairway in shape battling in certain areas. Overall a good price point for the course in its current shape.
Not in great shape; wonky layout
Course was not in great shape — lots of crab grass and disease on greens. If you like hitting driver - this is not the course for you. Big gap between gold and blue tees - 6900 to under 6100. Not much fun.
On the upside, staff was great, starter was a hoot and bar & grill was a good spot with great service.
