Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Course condition
Fairways were rough they were being air rated couldn't get a good feel to hit the ball in the fairway greens were very good.
Fine golf cource
I was pleasantly pleased by this course. It is not long so i played from blue and it was fine.
Not many people on the course so pace of play was fine.

Why does the concession area open at 11am and no cart girl???
Course is nice, people are fantastic, but no way to get a drink on the course from a cart girl when your concession doesn't open until 11am is terrible.
Great conditions and pace of play
Amazing pace of play and conditions were great. Few rough spots on some holes but great value for the money.
Course conditions were okay. Greens were above average, but tees, fairways, rough and bunkers needed some work. Nice variety of hole shapes/lengths. Value for the money was good.
Very Nice
Staff was excellent! From my greeting at the pro shop, the starter ( we got off 20 minutes early), and a Ranger on the course! Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, Fairways good, Green’s very good. Layout was very good. Nice open fairways, lots of water, but avoidable, plenty of bunkers ( I found most of them) and a few over the marsh challenges. My only complaint was the travel time, 45 minutes from Clearwater. Overall, a lovely day in spite of my game.
Amazing course for the value
I’ve been playing at courses all over the Tampa Bay Area and Heritage Harbor has probably been my favorite. The community & course are absolutely gorgeous. You definitely need your driver on some very long & open holes. This course provides a lot of challenges with hard to reach greens, narrow drives through trees, water, and 90 degree turns on fairways. The range and practice greens are extremely well kept which led to a great warm up. Really nice views even on the cart path between holes. Overall, had a great time and will for sure be coming back. Warning: beware of all water - A LOT of gators & wildlife so don’t be careless if you hit near the edge.
The course was in horrible shape and there was no ranger to keep the pace of play up. The only good part we’re the greens but they had no break at all.
Underrated
Heritage Harbor is a great track and an awesome value that seems to be underrated locally. It is right down the road from the Tampa Players Club, a top rated course in the Tampa Bay area, and it is comparable in layout and conditions. However, despite it being at least half the cost of TPC, it is far less busy. The remodeled clubhouse pub is also great.
review
Heritage Harbor is always in fine condition...the greens are smooth and run fast....fairways are OK, but they lots of watering. The course from the white tees ( about 5500 yds. ) is quite challenging, especially for a "high handicapper".......water, sand and out of bounds come into play on several holes.....it's always good when I break 100.....
Nice place
Course is good shape. New place to eat in clubhouse is great.
Great Value for the Money
Pro shop staff were efficient and friendly. Driving range and practice green good. Pace of play was super and course, especially greens, we’re in great condition. Played here last year and it was good but it has gotten even better.
