Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Downhill
I've played this course about 8 times. I'm very glad I paid only 15.00 hot deal because I couldn't believe the amount of bahaha around the fairways and greens. If you catch a hot deal, it's worth the practice. This course has a nice layout but get it back together please.
Great Potential
We’ve played here more than 5 times in the past 6 months. The course layout is great. The greens need to be in better conditions. The tee boxes and tee signs need to be updated to represent the actual distances on the day of play. Hole placement is also not available until you get up to the green. The carts ride nice but don’t have a nice digital screen for distances.
The staff is ok, not overly accommodating but professional. Also, the driving range is a bit sandy.
Greens
Course has a great layout but the greens were in bad shape.
Good But Could Be Better
I really enjoy playing this course. The holes, for the most part are laid out clearly and each tee box has a picture of the hole. Some of the greens were in bad shape, but that happens in Florida in the Summer. One suggestion is to have some more signage that is visible to players coming off 9 and 18 to tell them where they need to go. I appreciate the nice bathrooms on each nine. The course does drain well, because we had heavy rain the day and night before but there was no standing water on the course. If this course was closer to my home in Palm Harbor. I would play it every week.
Not Bad for the Price
I unfortunately chose a rainy day to play but it wasn’t bad enough to not play through. The weather scared off some people so the pace of play was great for me.
Course conditions aren’t terrible but they could be better. The fair ways had some spots with some thick grass patches but the greens were in decent shape if you landed on the middle of the green. The edges of the greens were a little sandy. The lay out of the course is great though! Had two par 5s that dog leg pretty drastically, but what’s golf with out some challenges.
All in all it’s decently priced for the course you’re getting. I’m sure during the winter time this course is top notch.
Other than greens, course is in good shape
I was disappointed with the greens. They had aerated a couple of weeks ago and the greens are now in worse, not better shape. It appears they are being overrun with Tropical Signalgrass or some other weed that needs to be killed/removed. The rest of the course is in fairly good condition.
I would recommend the course because it’s a nice layout. The greens were recently punched which made it tough to put but also every green had multiple dead spots which also hindered putting.
Great times
This Course is always beautiful with some challenging holes and really fun ones. And the staff is excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable I would recommend this Course for beginners to experience players
Course was nice but the play was super slow.
We had a very slow group in front of us which was only a group of two. We were a group of four and were playing faster than them. They course itself was nice though. Dirt in the sand trap is not preferred over sand.
