About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Seeing big improvement
Some TLC has been applied since last Fall. Greens not perfect but puttable and not full of bare spots, Fairways still need more water and grass but improved. The course is now playable, last time I played it...it was not.
super value
Best value in north Tampa. Great and fair course for senior players. Always enjoy this course.

Tee boxes need a bit of love.. Course layout was fun but on the easier side..
Heritage Harbor
We love this course and have never seen it in this bad of condition. The fairways had little to no grass and the tee boxes were not in the greatest of shape on several holes. Not sure what has happened in the last month or so, however we were disappointed. Most of the greens were in decent shape.
Heritage Harbor GC
This is a great course with very reasonable prices. The course itself is in good shape and the layout is nice with a variety of complexity. For example, the 8th hole is a Par 5 with a double dog leg requiring a trade between distance and accuracy. In addition, the tee boxes are set-up pretty well where playing from the white tees is a bit easier while the blue tees offer more challenge. It is a fun golf course to play!
Enjoyable Course
Fun course enjoy the course immensely will return paired with another left hand golfer we had a fun time
Pleasantly surprised!
Didn't expect a lot from this course due to cost, but was very happy. Tees allow for challenge or easier play by taking challenging water or scrub away if you want to play whites. Wide open fairways, and greens were in pretty good shape, although slow. 4 or 5 fairways were in bad shape as they had plugs all over the place, which affected a couple shots.
First time playing
Course is nicely laid out, challenging but not difficult. No Marshall on course to move play along...so be prepared for slow motion play.
Aerated fairways
In the middle of the round we started running into the maintenance vehicle that was aerating the fairways. There was no mention online that this would be happening nor did the guy in the Pro shop when we paid full price say anything. Needless to say this took the roll out of any drives, left mud and plugs all over the fairways and really was disappointing.
Heritage Harbor Review
Overall very nice design and fun course to play. 5 sets of tees to accommodate all levels of golfers. Good test from Blue tees for lower hdcp. players. Greens in excellent shape but roll slower than they look. Good golf value for the price.
Fast fairways
Courses transitioning from overseed to Bermuda grass little bear and some spots but all in all in pretty good shape greens are rolling nice fast fairways pace of play was excellent of course amenities or very nice very good value for the money
