About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Nice course but deserves better shape
We like the course layout but fairways were very dry and very little grass (must have been very dry spring forthwith region). Also very slow pace of play.
Needs some work.
Shop and starter was great. Teed off on time. Pace of play was slow. No ranger moving people along. There were at least three separate groups of 8. Mostly hackers in group. That’s okay but ranger could have moved them along. Fairways need water. Hitting off fairway should not be hardpan. Greens bumpy and need to be rolled and sanded. Dollar value to the play is to be desired. Hope they get on top of the maintenance.
Prob won’t be back for awhile.
Recommend
Highly recommend. A few holes are difficult, but all in all a wonderful course. It's good to have a challenge.
Never again
I played here for the first and last time on Saturday. Horrid conditions, punishment for hitting in fairways as there is no good grass. All dead or dirt. Incredibly slow and bumpy greens. Marshal was arrogant and brought a whole other level of “I’m never coming back here”. This place was horrible. Save your time and money, go play heritage isle not heritage harbor
Front desk pro shop staff was not friendly. He had no time to help with where the first hole was. He also did not group players as required. There where 3 thresomes in front of me and singles and doubles behind me. All playing front the front tee boxes. These players were hitting 8-10 balls which slowed the pace. 4 1/2 hours was too long. Hole 18 need a bell to ring in order to let the players behind know they are done. Mentioned this to the front desk pro staff and he had no clue of how to handle this major issue. I'm giving this a 2.5 star due to these issues with this course.
Good value for high season
The course was in good condition throughout and priced right for this time of year. The group of men behind us were playing from the reds, so it felt rushed a few times (especially on the shorter holes).
The only true disappointment was the women's clubs I rented. I didn't expect a premium set, but it was a older mix of clubs that hadn't even been cleaned since the previous use.
Needs help
Fairway grass is nonexistent. Greens are beat up no one can be bothered to fix a ball mark. The parking brake did not work. Condition overall was not good. Unfortunately it's not unusual for this part of Floriduh
