Better
With the more humid weather, the course begins to flourish once more. It's no longer a dry, rock hard track but a more lush tropical feel. More forgiving, more soft, more enjoyable.
Only missing water for golfers
The course is in great shape, greens have been aerated and putt true. I would have given 5 stars overall if they had drinking water on the course. Don't want to get dehydrated in Florida.
Conditions
Second shot on 9 for women to hit over the brush is hard, needs to be cut down. A few bunkers were wet and packed down, the rest were fine. The 18 th green was a lot slower than all the rest resulting in extra putts, all the others were very nice. All in all nice course.
Fine
Much needed rain is bring the course back - still a way to go.
Fun course
Great day. Course is in good shape. Everyone was friendly. Good pace of play. Had a blast!
Challenging
Course was in good shape but they did punch the greens. I like the design, it’s challenging but has a few holes with risk/reward opportunities.
Firm Fairways and Good Greens
The fairways were nice and firm and the greens were in good condition. Course is aerating the greens 5/23 and 5/24, so keep an eye on that for the next few weeks.
Good conditions.
Nothing to complain about. Greens and fairways were in great condition, friendly staff, pace a of play was decent.
The only reason I wouldn’t play this course again is it isn’t the most fun layout if you enjoy hitting driver a lot like I do. Most of the landing zones (widest part of the fairway) on the par 4s are about 150yds from the greens. I only hit driver 4 times and two of those were dumb plays where I just wanted to hit it. I played the 6500 tees but I guess I’ll have to try the 7000 next time...
Good layout in good condition
Greens were in great shape and were quick. Fairways were in pretty good condition. Bunkers don't have rakes and there aren't any on the carts so lots of footprints and ball marks/divots. Tee boxes are bit rough but that seems to be a theme in central Florida.
Great value
Bay tree National was a pleasure to play. The course was in great shape and the price was good. It was a great value.
Nice, but could do better
The course was in good shape but several things "easy fixes" should be addressed. First, no rakes in the sand traps or available. Also, no water on the course, like several other courses now offer. Lastly, the ball washers were not working, some had duct tape over them, and most had no water in them. Positives, they had a beer cart going around and the workers are friendly.
