Baytree National Golf Links

I did something that I have never done before, I quit after 9. It took 2 and a half hours to to make it through the front nine. We had to wait on very single shot for what seemed like 5 minutes. We saw no marshal on the course to try to increase speed of play, even though I saw a marshal cart at the first tee. What a shame, I'll never go back, even though I could have got a credit for the 8 holes. Why would I submit myself to that again, makes no sense. I do have to mention the greens. They were the fasted greens I have played on in many years. Odd looking though, dark green, almost fake looking.

Staff and course were great as always, but this time of year the play is slow. I will say they are up front about it taking 5 hours for 18 holes and they worked very hard to keep the groups moving. Overall, had a great time, they paired me a dad and son..I don’t care about pace really as long as folks are patient and courteous.

I always recommend Baytree. Great course and at a good price.

Course was interesting, course condition was very good for winter..

With an afternoon tee time at this time or year, we wondered, will the pace allow us to finish in a timely manner. Worked out just great. Played in 3 hrs and 40 minutes. The course was in good shape for winter and we enjoyed the round except for the cold creeping in on the last 4 holes or so with a sprinkle of rain, too. The tee blocks were very good and the greens were running well. The bunkers were well groomed and overall play was good on the fairways. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and we would recommend playing here.

Nice layout, very fast greens, just not cared for last few years. Has potential, just needs trimming, maintenance & refurbish. May be a great course in 2-3 years if taken care of.

Everyone was very friendly at the golf course snd the weather was great.

Course was in good condition. Greens were fast with hard to read subtle breaks. Lots of position shots from the tee. Driver not required on many holes.
