Love this course
I have heard that the course is going to close and that would be such a shame.
It is such a good layout, a challenge but exciting every time I play it. Enjoy the design, the architect is very creative.
Please don't close the course!
Beau Terrain
Tres beau terraon et competitif pn vas rejouer ce terrain a nos prochaines vacances a Orlando
Rolling greens
Had a great day. As warned, greens were fast with a lot of slope, the starter was quite right to warn about going over the greens. Sorry to hear this course will only be around for a few more months.
Course is recommendable
Practice facilities are limited. Range balls no longer complimentary and too expensive. Course conditions have deteriorated.
Wonderful course
Why did it take me so long to finally play this course. It is a wonderful facility and an awesome course. It has plenty of challenges in the design, and throw in some good wind like we had and it gets quite difficult. Well worth playing at least once when in town.
Great layout and practice facility
Won't be disappointed in the course or the facilities! The pace of play was extremely SLOW! No ranger to speed play along. Could just have been resort golfers...but too slow to make it an excellent round. Will try again on the weekday.
Great course, poor staff
Course was in great shape. Great value for your dollar. Only complaint is the staff especially the starter was rather grumpy. If you don't like your job then quit.
Excellent value, play before it closes
Many are aware that the course has been sold to a developer who plans to build upscale condo and housing units. It's sad that such a nice course will go the way of a bulldozer, but today things are all about money, unfortunately.
The course is well laid out and presents challenges to golfers of all skills and ability. Greens were great and there was lots of water around that was willing to absorb an errant shot. The staff was cordial and the pro shop had lots of merchandise and discounted prices.
We will miss the course when it is closed.
You Should Play Grande Pines
Played Grande Pines for the first time, accompanied by a friend. Weather was abnormally cool, but not terrible. Course was challenging for my ability (just a Duffer). However, it is kept in excellent shape and the staff is very friendly as well as very helpful.
Enjoyed the course even though on this day it beat me up. I return to Orlando next week and have every intention of playing Grand Pines again. Great course and a good value for the cost.
Excellent Track
Course in great condition, nice variety of holes, great staff and great company made for a very enjoyable round. As others have said, play it while you can. Would have been 5 star but for a slow back nine.
Very nice course lots of challenges
Although the weather was not nice the staff was friendly and courtesy will come back to play
Going But not Forgotten
Well maintained AAA course, soon to be shutdown and subdivided. It is well maintained. Golf here before January or it will be gone!
VERY NICE
THIS IS A VERY NICE GOLF COURSE. THE SAND TRAPS ARE AMAZING. MY WIFE WAS IN A LOT OF THE TRAPS AND COULD NOT GET OUT.
Play it while you Can!
This course was worth the effort to get on. The course is in great shape right now, but it is being bulldozed in March, '15 for additional rooms/buildings. Course is across the street from Seaworld (that explains the desire to destroy a very nice golf course).
5 hour round, but understandable since everyone is trying to get on it before it is gone.
Put it on your "must play" list for this winter.
5 hours plus!
After the starter gave a 5 minute speech about pace of play and that a marshal would be on the course to enforce it I did not expect it to take over 5 hours to play. We saw the marshal twice during our round, once on the forth hole when he said it was the group two ahead of us that was the problem and again on 17 when he rode by and said have a good evening. We waited to hit every shot from the third hole on, at one point there were 5 groups on a par 5. I understand it normally takes longer to play a resort course but 5+ hours is too long.
challenging and pretty
nice track, weather was poor, cold and misty. Starter was not well organized so some delay at star, but good pace of play.
Joe
Fun course and especially the 12th hole. Would recommend the course. The sand traps are in very good conditons as the fairways and greens.
belle journée sur un beau terrain
Terrain en excellente condition. Vert très difficile à lire.
Bon test de golf.
Nice Ciurse Too Bad it is going away
Really enjoy this course. Good layout in nice condition. Too bad it has been sold and will be closing.
