Halifax Plantation

Great track. All the staff was super friendly. Cool layout. Greens were extremely fast with some tough pin locations. My only critique is that the tee boxes were awful. I'd play here again.

Slightly overpriced for condition of course, but well run and easy to enjoy. Cart paths are in poor condition and areas of fairways are not kept up as nice as a price like theirs would suggest.

Played with a resident who said new management is bringing the course back into shape and it was very evident. Nice layout, decent fairways and relatively smooth and fast greens. Would play again.

Played course numerous times and staff slow on improving tee boxes (most crowned), sparse fairways, and green conditions.

course was in below average conmdition, greens were good with some crabgrass. Overall course layout was very unimpressive

The corse was open but no one was playing due to heavy and continuous rain. I called the course and canceled the tee time.

I hope they get control of the course before they lose it again. Fairway grass spotty most holes. Greens have weeds taking over. Sad to see it happening.

I really liked the layout of the course, but the course is not in great condition. Many bare spots, and greens have different grasses. Suffering from hurricane and then drought. Bar has good food, good pours, and friendly staff.

Tee boxes in very poor shape, they need to be over seeded and watered. Greens are starting to get weeds and need attention. They need a ranger out there to push the slow players; it took 5 hrs to play today. They need to have drinking water on the course. This course is charging top $ for a Tomoka Oaks look.

The staff was very friendly and fun! The fairways and greens were in good condition. We enjoyed the layout and the bunkers were in good condition with rakes. I would play this course again.

Put it this way if I was a cow I would love this place

Fairways patchy and bare lies greenside conditions where terrible weeds and bare patches everywhere.

Greens were fast but weeds growing in the greens .

Only the slow play ruined the day. Four and one half hours is the maximum I ever plan to need for eighteen holes of golf; this round was five hours and fifteen minutes! We waited on every tee as well as all second shots. All courses should have a rule to skip a hole if players in a group have a full hole open ahead of their group. I suggest this because rangers seem to be ineffective or nonexistent.
