About
The Golf Club at Cypress Creek is a full service, 18-hole semi-private facility. Located just 25 minutes south of Tampa on I-75 at exit 240, this is a must-see club featuring a meticulously maintained championship course. It is designed on rolling terrain around 600 acres of pristine conservation wetland with multi-tiered tees, undulated greens, numerous bunkers and lakes. Great Layout. Excellent value golf course with a very enjoyable restaurant.

Same Old Song and Dance
I'm starting to think it's me. Seems like Florida Courses seem to be a series of wet and beat down fairways and average condition. I'm gonna guess it a combination of soil and cart traffic. As for Cypress I loved the layout, but the condition left bit to be desired. Pace of play was hideous. The group in front of us played a 2 v 2 scramble. I don't know what happened, but one fella played the last 4 holes wearing nothing but boxers and a bandana. LOL!

hit or miss
played last week in 3 1/2 hours which was great. this time very backed up, 20 min late teeing off and over 4 1/2 hours to play. waited on every hole. but great layout, greens ok but rough is very tough.

Liars
Tried to play there on Christmas, total down pour of rain. They said it was cart path only with standing puddles of water. I did not play and called golfnow on the 26th for a refund. Golfnow called the course and they told golfnow that they were open no restrictions and the course was fine. Do not play at this course. If they have to lie to make money, let them go out of business.

Day to Forget
I really don't write reviews on courses on this app. But after my round yesterday I had to. Showed up on time to be told it was a 30 delay. There was literally 4 groups waiting to tee off. Thought it would clear but after each hole we were greeted with at least 2 groups waiting to tee off. We finished the front 9 in 3 hours!!! We headed home after 9. I would say that the staff is awesome. Some of nicest in the area. Always helpful, always friendly, and makes you feel welcomed. However; the course management is terrible. I love the layout and challenge, but its always backed up on this course. Just be ready to wait.
