A very interesting course lots of water some narrow fairways and some with lots of room

The greens roll true and are in good condition

Overall a very pleasant outing

CC from a pure golf angle is a decent track for the money - $35…..but the pace of play is pitiful so be warned. Less common is the attitude of the starter….I was paired with a three ball who had arrived before me. The starter wanted me to share one of the carts which I had no problem with….however, he said they were on the driving range so I asked if I was expected to carry my bag to the 1st t to which I received a null response…so onto the 1st t I went & waited until 10 / 15 mins after the scheduled time to find that the other three had started 20 mins earlier….at which point I returned to the starter & gave him a full weight bollocking. Eventually, he gave me a cart but no apology. I’ve played CC a couple of times before but after yesterday’s experience I will not be returning at anytime. Shameful.

Greens were rolling nice and true. Skinny grass in fairways, but that’s typical for this time of year in Tampa. Pace of play slow—4 1/2 hour round on a Monday afternoon. Have played here many times—it’s a really good design for the price.

We played now 9 rounds all over Florida but this course should not be on GolfNow.

I know 5+ hours rounds are the norm in Florida (I'm from Il) and rangers do not exist and if we did not skip a hole to get ahead of a slow group it would have been even slower. Will play again since course has some nice holes and has its challenges but a 3rd time will only be if pace is better

Pace of play is slow. Lots of water!!! Excellent greens. I enjoy playing there.

Good facilities for warmup, range, chipping gree, putting. $8 for small bucket. Practice green in sad shape, did not reflect state of course greens. Condition of first few holes had me concerned. Greens were in need of cutting and rolling. Fairways patch. Bunker sand wasn't. Bunker sand remained poor and I guess fairway conditions can be blamed on water restrictions and winter but greens improved significantly. Imaginative layout, lots of bunkers that challenged you to select your shots carefully. The slope rating was warranted. A very pleasant round of golf. With a 7:00am tee time we were done in just over 3 hours.

Greens were in good condition, fairway were pretty good also. Rough was not great at all, dead grass, patchy, more dirt than grass. No marshall, very slow play on or round - 4 groups backed up on 14th hole - we left.

Poor condition of the course tee boxes greens fairways starter was not friendly had an attitude is not in good shape, could not recommend it to anyone

This course is one to avoid. Conditions were bad with slow greens and spotty fairways. In general, the layout is difficult with water coming in to play on almost every hole. Not worth the drive or the money.
