About
The Golf Club at Cypress Creek is a full service, 18-hole semi-private facility. Located just 25 minutes south of Tampa on I-75 at exit 240, this is a must-see club featuring a meticulously maintained championship course. It is designed on rolling terrain around 600 acres of pristine conservation wetland with multi-tiered tees, undulated greens, numerous bunkers and lakes. Great Layout. Excellent value golf course with a very enjoyable restaurant.

Awesome, Fun Course
Being first time playing this course I found everything an amazing experience, loved the layout! Only concern was lack of ball cleaners at the tee box, even if at every other hole would be beneficial.
I can’t wait to play here again…worth the drive from St. Pete!
Rough Conditioned Course
The layout is great, but the conditions need attention for the price. I can see this cours really good and worth paying for with some improvement there.
Loved it!
Everything was really good except the greens. The greens needed to be rolled and cut a little shorter. Maybe they were protecting them from the heat? They did not track that well. Our group did not sink many putts. The fairways were pretty darn good. The course layout was very nice. The staff was really nice.
Not bad
Greens were ok a little bumpy and one in died need of repair. Nice layout not too challenging and in good condition. Staff need to be a little more Course condition was very dry. Desperately in need of water. Great course but over priced!
Needs work
The course has gone down considerably. They made some upgrades a couple of years ago. but maintenance looks like it’s been ignored for sometime. Not sure if they hired new ground crew and that’s why it’s mid or what. There is way better value and better maintained course near by. Not sure why they don’t have a ranger moving some of the golfers around the course better. Also they got guys wearing jean shorts and sleeveless t shirts. They can do better.
Really challenging Course…but man, $80?
Good Part: course is challenging with some really decent bends and curves. Established trees and landscape make it very scenic.. Bartender, Megan, was great and very customer oriented! We will play this course again.
But
Bad Part: Golf is fun, addictive, but some courses seem to go out of their way to price out the middle group. Is this a championship course, no. The smell and greens keep that a solid “not a chance”. BUT it’s a great course to play with decent carts. Pace of play was slow through hole-4 while the layout of #1 and #9 make it easy to get smashed.
Could be great with a bit of TLC
Great staff at Cypress Creekbut the course needs a bit of TLC to make it a must play course
