Very positive first impression
Considering the recent hurricane, course was quite playable so well done maintenance staff. Not terribly long, lots of water hazards in play, better suited for target golf folks than bombers. Played by myself, no pace issues. Enjoyable round, a course that is likely even more fun once you know where not to hit the ball. Going back tomorrow.
Awesome course.
Staff was friendly the moment upon arrival. No issues with the number of people playing and having someone back out last minute. Driving range was mats, which is okay. Better than not having a range to warm up at. No start which was okay but caused a couple two-somes pushing the pace a little. Definitely was giving the greens some TLC with a few spots with some sand. The lady on the beverage cart was friendly and showed up at the perfect time.
But all in all, great course. Nice layout. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great experience and will definitely be back.
Nice course
We played using “Hot Deals” on Golf Now so fees were very attractive. We teed off at 12:15 in September so fewer golfers on the course- we played in under 3 hours. Probably not like this in season!
Afternoon Golf
Played late on an August Wednesday afternoon. If you can handle the heat, you’ve got a well-priced, wide open course in nice condition. Staff helpful and friendly, plenty of water stations available. Stay hydrated and enjoy a great paced round of golf.
Great Course
So as everyone in Florida knows, there’s a golf course on every corner, but this course is top of the list! Great staff, course was very well maintained, greens were great, some deer on the course who looked like they call the course home, and great food at the clubhouse, even the hot dog was served on pretzel buns. All around very satisfied!
Very busy day for the course and unfortunately had cart issues which created very slow play
No adverse effects from Tropical storm Debbie
Enjoyed our round. Was able to tee off ahead of scheduled tee time. Greens still coming back from aeration. Not great. Fairways in good condition. Water on course was good. Absolutely no delays except errant shots.
Ha.
Over rated over priced
The course was in very poor condition. The greens had bare spots and the ball did not roll. It bounced when struck. Had two kids with clubs and a cart going hole to hole any direction they wanted to fishing for golf balls and then hitting multiple practice shots From all over the place. Other than the kids that held us up we had known in sight until we made the turn where they had let out several groups on the 10th. I live here and played this course times a year for the past five years, but will not be going back .
Serenona
Decent course design and course was in good shape; however, it had been recently aerated and the putting surface was a bit shaggier than most of the other area courses. Looking forward to playing it again with improved greens.
Premiere public golf course set in beautiful nature
Always a pleasure to play Serenoa. Summer is a maintenance period so you have to excuse the greens, but overall satisfaction playing this Florida preserve beauty!
Too soon to play - aerated greens
The greens were just arerated so play was not good. The course is nice and in good shape but the greens were awful.
Greens are punched
They should let you know when you book and when you pay the green fee.
