Great track in excellent condition!
Less than 3 hour round
Great Track
Recommended by someone at our condo and it did not disappoint. Layout was great, greens were true, and even saw some wildlife. Staff was friendly and cart staff came by regularly.
Only issue was that it rained when we started #5, so we hid under a big tree after finishing. When the rain subsided as group of 3 caught up to us and one guy complained that we cut in front of them, which we didn’t. They rode us the rest of the way and hit up on us a few times the entire rest of the way. No marshals to report them.
Even with that one item, I would highly recommend this course for overall value, conditions, staff, and layout. There is meaningful water on every hole, so be straight or you will pay the price.
Excellent course for the money
Course layout excellent. Some tee boxes need a little work but the fariwways and greens were in good condition. Typical Florida weather, hot and muggy. Very few people on the ccourse. Took two of us 3:35 to play.
Staff was excellent. From the Pro Shop to the resturant. An enjoyable golf outing.
Great Improvement
I have played this course a couple of times over the last two years. The superintendent has done a great job in improving course conditions and your golfing experience. The extra rain we got, did help every golf course get green, but Serenoa is looking and playing pretty good.
Beautiful course
Very nice course lots of water. GPS carts to navigate course through neighborhood. Cart girls are a plus. Bring extra balls
Father Day round
My first real round in a long time. I havent played this course in 20 years...
Sarasota had water challenges this week with a massive amount of rain, so the course was wet in spots but playable.
Layout was moderately interesting
Digital view on the cart didn't give yardage off the tee to mid-points and the course has a number of water hazards that cross the fairway.
They could have had more water coolers at more holes.
Im not a big fan of practice areas with mats vs real grass.
I live close, so will likely play again, but not a course I am "JONESING" to rush back to..
Overpriced
Course in good shape but there are a number of courses in better shape and more challenging at lesser cost
Great shape considering the weather
Played there for the first time on an extremely hot, humid day. I was glad they had water available throughout the course. The course is challenging but fair and the pace of play was just over 4 hours. Conditions were really good, especially considering the drought which has devastated many area courses. Not sure I'll pay the premium price in season, but the summer rate is fair and worth it.
