River Marsh Golf Club - Hyatt Chesapeake Bay
About
The Hyatt River Marsh Golf Club is Maryland's leading Eastern Shore golf course. The classic design incorporates challenging elements including sculpted bunkers and mature trees but balances them with wide, player-friendly fairways and inviting greens. Water has a prominent presence on the course with Shoal Creek meandering through the course and the Choptank River serving as a backdrop to many of the greens. The riverside golf course has the look and feel of a seaside links course. The final two holes are the golf course's most memorable. The par-3 17th requires a dramatic carry over Shoal Creek to a large green strategically guarded by three bunkers. The 17th is a challenging and scenic hole but it only sets the scene for Hyatt River Marsh Golf Club's final hole. Touted as one of the best holes in the Mid-Atlantic region, this classic risk-reward par 5 has a bunker and the Choptank River running its entire length.

Golfer Reviews
Bermuda
Fairways changed to Bermuda last year. Some areas still browned out but nice lies anyway. Very droughty here. Certain to get even better with some precipitation
Disappointed
Fairways dry and thin and almost no decent lie anywhere.
The greens are terrible and full of bare spots and ball marks.
Sad to say I’ve played many rounds here and always enjoyed the place.in every season but the place looks terribly neglected and not at all worth the money.
I hope they get it together soon.
Course needs work
Beautiful location. Nice course. Off season so the fairways need some time to come in. The bunkers have no excuse though. They haven't been touched in over 6 months. I know. I played here twice last November and same thing. Quite a few greenside bunkers even look like they are on their way to being overgrown with weeds in them. Just no excuse at all. Prices need to come down if the maintenance is coming down too.......
POOR CORSE CONDITIONS
IT WS MARCH 5TH AND COURSE WAS WET, AS EXPECTED. CART PATH ONLY AS EXPECTED.
GREENS WERE VERY SLOW AND BUMPY, AREATION HOLES STILL THERE.
HOPEFULLY NEXT REVIEW WILL BE BETTER, AFTER CONDITIONS ARE BETTER.
