Sierra Lakes Golf Club

Great course for long drivers. The course is wide that allows for small slices. If you like using your 3 wood and long irons this is the place for you. The winds make it very challenging. The greens are beautiful but some at the moment did need some up keep. Overall this place a 10 for the price.

Staff was very nice. Our tee time was set for 930. We weren't told that the back 9 was closed. When we completed the front 9, we came back to 1 and had to wait about 1 hr. Wasn't very happy about the wait. I'd like to go back sometime to see the rest of the course. Holes 1 and 9 were cart path only which also sucked. . Hope it was just a fluke

The issue was that the greens were punched which we didn’t know about until we got there and we ended up having to play the front nine twice because the back nine was being aerated while we were there. It would’ve been nice to know that at the time the tee time was made. You would have thought that the course would make some sort of compensation to us, but never even offered.

The course layout and conditions was good, but the pace of play was very slow, took us 51/2 hours to complete and never seen any Marshall checking

around the course.

Course in good shape except many of the greens had bad pitch marks to where its obvious many players do not repair their shots. The staff are wonderful.

Pro shop is nice. Bathrooms are clean and stocked up. Good selection at the bar and great food here too. Fairways are pure. Tee boxes look like they just started some maintenance but can’t be upset about that. But, the greens were TORN UP. They roll well if you can find a flat spot but man, they are destroyed. Also, whoever is cutting the cups out could do a better job. They’ve never been cut properly here. Rough is thick but good, not a bad thing. Bunkers could use a little more sand in some. Some are good, some are rock hard. If they could just fix the greens up this place is a destination.

This course plays 4-4:30 hours early in the morning , we started at 7:45, finished in 5 hours, extremely slow.

It took almost 6 hrs. To finish golf.

There were so many golf beginners. I understand that golf is a hard sport but they can not practice on course.

They hit the balls 2 or 3 times every tee box even all four of them. OMG...

not 1 group or 2 even more group... wow..

No rangers. Once prepaid green fee no staffs care any thing.

So bad. Never come here again

Need to install ice container on carts. Can survive the heat without it. Especially when all the water dispensers o the course were empty. It’s only 100+ degrees today by the way.

Great course and good pace. We started off great with the pace but started to get backed up towards the last 6 holes. But not too bad.

Fairways were amazing, bunkers were great and greens were good for a monday .

I like the course it was well maintained but the pace of play was slow. I think they jam too many people too close together. I understand the course wants to make as much money as possible but w started our wait at the first tee to the last tee. Especially on a hot day and not the most shady course I think if they did a better job at seperating the groups a little it would be much better. This is my second time here and it was the same the first time also.

The course was very nice clubhouse was very nice my overall complaints would be for how nice the course is the golf carts were very outdated and in horrible condition dirty ripped seats the greens were pretty torn up as well but overall I loved the course they played nice everything was well taken care of for the most part I’d for sure go back

Sierra Lakes has many challenging holes that can test your accuracy . Some holes were drivable where it made you think risk or reward approaches. It was a hot day but all the trees made it for a fun and memorable day for our group. Only complaint was pace of play, there were no marshals pushing the slow groups, otherwise a very nice course that I would recommend to any friends.
