Greens were bad then started getting better but they are now back to bad, spotty and sparse.

Second time playing here. This course has a decent layout but it needs maintenance. The greens, which are all very small, were bumpy and some areas didn’t have grass. The bunkers had sand, but like most courses in Southern California, were wet with puddles in them. Why is it so hard to keep water out of the bunkers?

The staff is 50/50, some are them are friendly and the others are just rude and act like they are working at at Augusta.

I’ll probably play here again, but the green fees have to be pretty low for me to come back.

Very slow play on a course in poor condition. I would not recommend this to any of my golfing friends.

Felt like I was there all day. Prioritized the walk Ins nstead of my appointment . Greens not the best

I left my rangefinder on the cart and they called me that evening. Left a message and set it aside with my name much appreciated.

Very good price on tee off is where I reserve my tee time for a good price

Course layout was great, fair ways in great shape, staff was friendly. Some greens seem to be in need of repair. But it’s great deal for a Sunday. Would definitely come back and recomend.

Shandin Hills Golf Course is a great course—especially if you’re looking to work on your long game. Each hole feels strategically placed, and the layout makes for an awesome round of golf from start to finish.

Yes, the greens could use a little bit of work, but overall it was still a great experience. The staff was super inviting, and the pace of play was a pleasant surprise. The lines don’t get backed up like other courses, and you don’t feel that constant pressure from groups stacked up behind you. You can actually take your time, have fun, and enjoy the round.

All in all, it was a really solid experience, and I’ll definitely be going back.

Got to the course an hour early to go to the range and warm up. They tell us that the range won’t be open until 12, it was 11:10 and we had a 12:10 tee time. Once our tee time was set they were barely letting the group in front of us go, so we were delayed our tee time 10 minutes. This led to horrible pace of play. The fairways are fairly tight, this leads to a lot of golfers going on your fairway which also makes the pace of play worst. The grass in total is very poor; the fairway is patchy, rough is not existent just patchy grass everywhere, and the greens were not well kept. Some holes just were impossible to get a clean hit outside of 5 ft from the hole. The bunkers were also awful, it was either concrete or clay because it was wet, there was no in-between. This place is decent for the money, but that’s about it.

The course was beat up by the rains. Tire marks in the turf around the greens made it difficult for the short game. The greens were in need of help. I’m blaming the weather for the course conditions.

The course has potential, however it’s just run down. I went because i seen the reviews saying it has improved those may have been submitted by course employees. To start theres no starter or marshal so you pretty much go out whenever (didn't call for next on tee either) and pace of play is horrible expect 5-6 hour rounds. The layout isn't actually bad, but the greens are the worst by far in the area id rather play on punched green at least there would be an excuse for them being patchy and bumpy, fairways were decent but no sand in the cart so every divot we came across was unfixed. Bunkers, i don't think they have any on the course just hard dirt pits. I wanted to give them credit and say the course was in horrible condition because due to the winter but these weren't winter conditions just poorly maintained. The course staff is very friendly. Id stress all my option before coming here.

Just want to say it was i nice course layout. course quality was better than expected since i has read it wasnt to good. We would love to play it again since its a great bang for the buck.

The course is finally getting better , no more super thick tough. Fairways are nice and greens are getting way better than they were.✅🙏🏻
