About
Named after the springs that snake through the layout, Delaware Springs Golf Course is a scenic links-style track that is one of the better values in Texas golf. The low prices and friendly service, combined with a picturesque and challenging golf course, make this a Hill Country favorite.
Architects Dave Axland and Dan Proctor built a natural-looking course that fits the terrain perfectly. The course is nestled into the rolling hills and oak trees along the Highland Lakes, playing 6,891 yards from the tips. During your round you’ll encounter lush fairways frequently loaded with bunkers, large greens that slope severely, and numerous bump and run shots. The designers added a few original touches, such as the descriptive Scottish names for each hole (the 18th is called "Hame" for the home hole).
Another interesting design twist involved placing the signature hole as the opener. Playing 504 yards to a par 5, no. 1 is best attacked with an iron into the left side of a sloping, tree-lined fairway. The creek cuts into the landing area, making it a testy tee shot. The second shot must bend around the dogleg to the left and over the creek, and the approach is into the green shaded by large trees on the right.

The course was wonderful but when I notified you that my playing partner could not make the round because of the flu. you refused to modify the charges. For that I am not a happy golfer.

Grey Rock Rocks! Take in the views!
This is one of the nicest layouts in the hill country! I drive from southwest Austin to play this course. The staff is super friendly. Greens were in great shape today, kind of fast. The fairways today were so well manicured I felt I was playing on artificial turf. A gem of a course.

Pleasant Surprise
Was passing through the Burnet area on way to Austin a while back and found this course on a golf tee time app. Loved it and have been back twice since. Very good conditions at a fantastic price. I also really like the layout. A couple of the tee boxes are a little rough but fairways and greens are excellent. Don’t let the affordable greens fees mislead. Great course!!

Well maintained course! A different style of play is necessary.
Love the course! Greens are hard, however, so need to approach differently to avoid the over runs and chip and put recoveries. Good value and hope to come back. Course is consistent throughout.

if you hate water holes this course is for you
The course was in good shape despite many days at 100 or more. Grass was better than expected. The only thing I would change would be a little more speed to the greens.

Great time at Delaware Springs
Enjoyed a round on an excellent hill country course. Finished in just over 4 hours and had a great lunch in the clubhouse. Definitely worth the trip. It was awesome that the Marshal gave us a run through on the holes before we teed off and Elizabeth was very nice in keeping us hydrated and feed after the round.
