Lago Vista Golf Course

Love the views and layout of the course. Unfortunately, they can’t get their green situation fixed. Been patchy at best for years now.

My dad’s wife has got us a free round the last 2 years for Christmas. This course has much improved since 2023. A few greens a patchy here in there but for the most part. I feel like this course is coming together

Haven't played this course in years, mostly due to the poor reviews about it's playing conditions. Was invited to play with a group this morning and was anxious to see how the course was fairing after reading and hearing some positive reviews. Unfortunately it was very cold and damp, but when you're with friends you play on and make the best of it. We started out on the back 9, and were only able to play about 6 holes before the rain set in. What I saw and experienced was encouraging. Yes there are multiple dead spots on the greens, but they weren't big and all-n-all rolled great and were very playable. The tee boxes and fairways are patchy and growing in areas. Judging from the reviews I've read and heard about the course prior to playing this morning I'd say the course is trending in the right direction, which is great because it really is a fun track to play!

green state is good. The fairways have the bad grass atmany spots.

Three bliind holes are not easy to play.

Greatly improved greens. Improved sand traps. Carts with GPS. Really turning around from the conditions 2 years ago.

Getting late in the year and the area hasn’t seen much rain over the past few months so the fairway are a little thin

But the crazy thing that I loved was the blind downhill 9th hole. I would go back just to play that hole

The other crazy thing was the number of Dustin deer there were on this course. You could practically pet them lol

This once fabulous golf course has become almost unplayable. Fairways are mostly barren and greens are a disaster. Not sure if this tract can be salvaged.

Course has been improved but still needs some attention.

Played last month and fairways were green, but after a month without rain the fairways are burnt grass. Sprinkler system is not working 50% of the course. Greens are playable so they are getting water. Only 1 temporary green. Ate lunch in The Bunker cafe, everything was very good. Will not be back until they get some rain.
