Lago Vista Golf Course

Getting late in the year and the area hasn’t seen much rain over the past few months so the fairway are a little thin

But the crazy thing that I loved was the blind downhill 9th hole. I would go back just to play that hole

The other crazy thing was the number of Dustin deer there were on this course. You could practically pet them lol

This once fabulous golf course has become almost unplayable. Fairways are mostly barren and greens are a disaster. Not sure if this tract can be salvaged.

Course has been improved but still needs some attention.

Played last month and fairways were green, but after a month without rain the fairways are burnt grass. Sprinkler system is not working 50% of the course. Greens are playable so they are getting water. Only 1 temporary green. Ate lunch in The Bunker cafe, everything was very good. Will not be back until they get some rain.

Course is improving. Austin and his staff in the restaurant of the club were very accommodating.

Course in pretty good shape. Some greens had disease but overall good.

Great course with a fantastic pace of play. I finish !8 holes between 2 and 3 hours consistently. The greens are still a work in progress. The fairways are very hard so expect your ball to kick on landing and run

Lago only has one unplayable green now, big improvement. Fairways still need more water, to many shots off dirt, but an improvement to what it was.

Go pay $40 more in Austin...the greens are mad sucky

I have played this course twice in the last two weeks. I know there is some bad reviews on the site but they are outdated now. Go play and you decide. There are two holes they are still working and one I know is the 7th green.

I read recently about this course and I have played there twice in the last two weeks and I really enjoyed myself. Shot very good scores and pace was excellent. It was like I was the only one on the course. There two holes they are working on,7 green and t I don't remember the other.

If you go thru Golf Now you can score a great rate! I paid $30.00 both times.

This is a beautiful course with good views. Its a shame that the lake is so low!

Amenities are very poor. No beverage cart and all beverage and food closes two hours before the course closes. You can't even buy a cok in a machine or get ice.

First time playing in about one year. Greens and fairways are much better than a year ago. I can tell that the new staff have spent a lot of time and money improving the greens especially. And the practice area is much improved also. It’s a work in progress so don’t expect TPC but it’s coming along well and it’s a good course to play.
