Other than a few of the tee boxes being in rough shape, it was in very good condition, very impressed! Gorgeous clubhouse and proshop!

Well maintained course has many wonderful features and challenges

Elks Run offers players of every level a great experience. Like many courses players should play the correct tees for their abilities. Don't play the Blue if you are an 18 or higher, there is nothing wrong with playing the White (Member's Tees.)

Great 'risk/reward' factor on just about every hole.

Physically beautiful, whether it is on the links style front nine or the Midwest style back nine. Several holes offer vista views of the whole course, while others cut back into a hillside and make you feel that you "own the course" by their solitude.

My destination course for treating visitors and business associates.

I gave up on my round before getting to the 14th green after 4 hours and 20 minutes. The pace of play was heading toward a 6 hour round due to one foursome two groups ahead. The course did nothing about this even when I told them in the pro shop on my way to my car. For a course that markets itself as a high-end, daily fee course with a Greg Norman design, they need to do more on the pace of play. The course conditions are also uneven. Some greens are still showing a lot of the summer stress and fairways and tees are not as good as other courses in this price range.

Always like playing here! Course conditions are great. I love the layout of this Norman design. It has some hilly terrain but overall the course is a fair test of golf. The big undulating greens offer some challenge but are some of the best greens in Cincinnati! Always ready for a return visit!!!

I was excited by the prospect of playing this Greg Norman designed course but boy was I disappointed. The course is in bad shape with some of the tees a disgrace with no grass on them - it helps to move the tee blocks around to save the turf! The greens had been recently cored & were very slow with the length of the grass quite long. The layout is interesting just the course is in bad shape at present. I'd be really disappointed if I paid top dollar to play this course in its present condition.

This course layout has been a favorite of mine for several years and I'm pleased they are trying to return the course to it's potential greatness. I wish (and I bet they do) that they could pour in the money necessary to really bring it to pristine condition. Still, it's way better than it was and they are trying. I'll be back next year-

Although I played as a single on the first 9 holes, i was treated extremely well, from my arrival at the car park right up to the first tee. The course was in wonderful condition with some great holes and magnificent views. I believe this is the first year back open after a few years closed, therefore it needs a full year and TLC to get back to pristine condition. That said i would go back in a heartbeat as Greg Norman sure knew how design golf courses.

Really nice course with challenging holes. Pace of play was really slow with groups of 2 - 4 at every single hole.

This might be the best public course in the area - certainly better than many private ones. I always look forward to playing Elks Run (unless the tee ball gets a little errant and finds the heather!).
The ownership has changed on this course many times - too numerous to count. I'm relieved the integrity of the course as well as its beauty have been maintained throughout the regime changes.

this course is very good. it is hard to find balls

The green's maintenance is lacking. A good deal of cut marks in many of the fairways where players are not repairing their damage. We had sprinklers turn on 3 feet from an occupied golf cart twice completely drenching us and our clubs and bags before the sprinkler head oscillated around allowing us to retrieve the cart. To make matters worse, the water was drawn from a creek and it went into our drinks and faces.

Great design by Greg Norman on a beautiful piece of land for a golf course. Lots of elevated tees. Course was in great shape earlier in summer but greens were infected this time. Some were so bad that they mowed them at close to teebox height to keep alive. Love this course when greens are right.
