Fire on the Mountain

Played RDS after the entire mountain side of the course was under threat of a brush fire. The smell did linger but the course is safe, huge thank you to CAL Fire & other agencies who helped. This was Easter morning so the place was pretty empty & they did punch the greens at the end of March, but they recovered well just a bit slow, understandable for being closed for 2 days with the fire just happening. Great staff & beautiful views of the IE. After a good mowing this course will be just fine.

Pete Dye layout.

The guy working the course said it was redesigned or originally designed by Pete Dye. The layout and hole design was really pretty and greens and fairways were in great shape. Get off the fairways and it’s bumpy from the local squirrels.

Great course and I would play it again for $50. Got a hot deal tee time and it didn’t disappoint.

Great Course

The course was closed for about 5 years but re-opened under new management a few years ago. The course is in good shape they are building a new Proshop with a restaurant and other amenities. there is construction going on but it did not interfere with our round. The staff was very nice and helpful.
