Yucaipa Valley Golf Club
About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Terrible
Honestly really disappointed with Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. The fairways were muddy, had large holes in multiple spots, and overall the course conditions were nowhere near worth the price we paid. We’ve played much better courses for cheaper.
On top of that, there was a group of teens driving carts onto the tee boxes and acting reckless. We reported it to staff and nothing was done. Later on, those same kids apparently got into a fight and ended up damaging golf carts. Completely avoidable if management had handled it earlier.
Another frustrating part was trying to order food at the 9th hole around 3 PM, only to be told the kitchen was already closed. For the amount they charge, you’d expect better course maintenance, management, and basic service.
Definitely not worth the money in our experience.
Thanks for the Sand
Thanks for putting time, money and effort into making this one of our top choices to play. Greens are so so much better,. I wish people would fix ball marks or an employee could maybe fix 5 a hole.
Good Layout
Note, Wednesday is Men's club at 8 AM, the men's club is so popular with a shotgun start, Wednesday before 12 is going to be slow. After 23 years of playing Yucaipa it has never been in better shape, good fairway coverage and great greens. Bunkers, new sand in most front nine greenside bunkers now. Fairway bunkers little sand but easy to hit out of. Back nine bunkers are not as good yet. Rough most days now are just low enough to spot ball for most part. Course and driving range are very popular and rounds most often go over 4 hours.
So slow
Ridiculously slow. Played on a random Wednesday and teed off at 11am. It took us over 3 hours to finish the front nine holes. There was no Marshall, twosomes were going out in front of us that had tee times after us. There was no one on the course making sure played at the pace of play they were supposed to. When you are paying over $70 a round mid week, I would expect that at the very least have a starter. We asked for half our money back or credit after the first 9 holes and they said no. My suggestion is make sure you carve out at lease 7 hours to play at these course and bring your patiences.

Yucaipa Valley Looking Great
The greens were punched a few weeks ago so they are looking great and rollin true. The rest of the course looks good too.
Worth the drive
Very good course for those driving an hour or so. Closer the better.
Don’t do it
This course charges per seat, so if you go alone and expect your own cart, think again, if you plan on bringing a spectator you will need to pay the tee time rate for them they are the only course in the IE that does this and they don’t care. Not only that but they stack people on each other. There will always be a line at each tee box and the owners are so greedy they will never change. I use to play here 2-3 times a week and now I will never go back.
Fun
Always a fun day at Yucaipa valley golf
