About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Golfer Reviews
Weeds
Patches of fairway weeds everywhere in the fairway. Weeds seem to be taking over the course. Fixed multiple ball marks on every green. Seems like basic course maintenance is lacking
Putting
Didn’t know Greens would be punched. Terrible for putting
Extremely disappointing experience at Yucaipa valley golf club
I went to yucaipa valley golf club expecting to play a round of golf by myself, which I never normally do. Before going, I checked both the GolfNow app and the Yucaipa Valley Golf Club website to make sure the course wasn't booked and that I would be able to play as a single. I even called the golf course beforehand to confirm. My tee time was at 3:36. I showed up 20 minutes early, only to be told after I had already paid that I was going to be paired with another golfer and that, because they were supposedly "super busy," all single players were being paired together in the same golf cart. Especially on "busy" weekends. I asked if I could at least have my own cart since I had specifically planned and paid to play by myself. The older woman working at the counter was extremely rude and dismissive. She told me they were busy, that I was not getting my own cart, and that I needed to take my golf bag and put it on the cart with the other golfer. Which made no sense because the parking lot wasn't packed and there was barely anybody inside the clubhouse and at the driving range, despite her repeatedly telling me how "busy" they were. I had also arrived 20 minutes early, so it's not like I was showing up late and causing an inconvenience to them. At that point, I asked if I could just have a voucher to come back another time when the course wasn't as "busy," since I had already paid. I was told they don't do vouchers and that my options were essentially "play or leave." That's an absolutely terrible way to treat a paying customer. I completely understand that golf courses can get busy and that courses sometimes need to pair single players together. That's not really my issue. My issue is that I checked the app, checked the website, called ahead, arrived early, paid, and did every precaution I could and was still given a completely different experience than what I was led to believe I was paying for. Then, when I tried to find a reasonable solution, I was met with rude and dismissive customer service. If the course is too busy to accommodate a single golfer or requires single players to share carts, that needs to be communicated before taking someone's money. Especially when that someone had called ahead of time. And if a customer isn't happy with the situation because of a miscommunication, telling them "play or leave" is not acceptable customer service. I've played at this course for a year now and have never been treated this badly. This course used to be my goto since it's so close. So it's really disappointing to get treated this way. I understand how the industry works, but after today's experience, I will not be returning to Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. Management should seriously reconsider how customers are being treated at the counter. Also what is up with the golf cart situation, even after all this happened, the person I was supposed to be paired with had to go outside and wait for a golf cart because they didn't have any ready. How are you a golf course that never have any available golf carts for the people with tee times, this is the third time I've witnessed that in a week. There is no one keeping track of the carts and people just going to the driving range are able to take the carts before the people with actual tee times are able to have one. Extremely disappointing and horrible service
Worth every penny
First time played there and in my opinion it’s a 5 star course in all areas..wow..from staff to the view and conditions of fairways, greens and layouts as well.
Terrible
Honestly really disappointed with Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. The fairways were muddy, had large holes in multiple spots, and overall the course conditions were nowhere near worth the price we paid. We’ve played much better courses for cheaper.
On top of that, there was a group of teens driving carts onto the tee boxes and acting reckless. We reported it to staff and nothing was done. Later on, those same kids apparently got into a fight and ended up damaging golf carts. Completely avoidable if management had handled it earlier.
Another frustrating part was trying to order food at the 9th hole around 3 PM, only to be told the kitchen was already closed. For the amount they charge, you’d expect better course maintenance, management, and basic service.
Definitely not worth the money in our experience.
Thanks for the Sand
Thanks for putting time, money and effort into making this one of our top choices to play. Greens are so so much better,. I wish people would fix ball marks or an employee could maybe fix 5 a hole.
We strive to give our guests the best experience possible that includes upgrading our sand this year. We will begin the back 9 in the fall months to complete all 18 holes by the end of the year hopefully. Thank you again for the kind words and we will work on them ball marks.
Good Layout
Note, Wednesday is Men's club at 8 AM, the men's club is so popular with a shotgun start, Wednesday before 12 is going to be slow. After 23 years of playing Yucaipa it has never been in better shape, good fairway coverage and great greens. Bunkers, new sand in most front nine greenside bunkers now. Fairway bunkers little sand but easy to hit out of. Back nine bunkers are not as good yet. Rough most days now are just low enough to spot ball for most part. Course and driving range are very popular and rounds most often go over 4 hours.
Thank you for the kind words. We love our Senior mens club and would love to see them play a bit faster but most days they complete their round in just over 4.5 hours.
So slow
Ridiculously slow. Played on a random Wednesday and teed off at 11am. It took us over 3 hours to finish the front nine holes. There was no Marshall, twosomes were going out in front of us that had tee times after us. There was no one on the course making sure played at the pace of play they were supposed to. When you are paying over $70 a round mid week, I would expect that at the very least have a starter. We asked for half our money back or credit after the first 9 holes and they said no. My suggestion is make sure you carve out at lease 7 hours to play at these course and bring your patiences.

I am so sorry you had a slow round. Every wednesday we have our senior mens club teeing off at 8am for a shotgun. It tends to play slow for 9 holes prior to picking up pace on the back 9 when they finish. I hope you give us another chance on another day.
Thank you for coming out!
Yucaipa Valley Looking Great
The greens were punched a few weeks ago so they are looking great and rollin true. The rest of the course looks good too.
Andy Aerification is a must to maintain great course conditions. We appreciate you still coming out to enjoy the course
Worth the drive
Very good course for those driving an hour or so. Closer the better.
Thank you for making the trip! We hope to see you again soon
Golf Fun
