General Old Golf Course

Had a total blast. Got paired up with a gentleman, and it was.We had so much fun together. Always nice to meet somebody new.

Greens and most tee boxes are in good shape. Fairways were a bit dry but playable. Would be great if the management removed old dead trees and tried to revitalize the water hazards to reclaim some of the ambience from decades ago. Definitely recommend this course as a SoCal value.

I had read a lot of negative reviews of the course, so didn't have high expectations... but the greens were in great shape. The fairways were in reasonable condition - if you miss them, you are in trouble on nearly every hole, off the fairways there isn't a lot of grass, so you need to land those drives. The tee boxes were in pretty good shape too, so overall the course played very well, with quite a challenging layout.

I was really happy with the course v the price I paid ($36 on a Sunday lunchtime).

The locals were all very friendly, I was invited to join the group ahead as they were only 3, so I was able to gain some local insight on the course as we played.

The range, chipping green, and putting greens were all really good - it was $8 for a small warmup basket of balls and you are hitting off grass.

I will definitely come back and play "The General" next time I am in the area, overall it was a great golfing experience.

This is actually a good course. Landscaping needs refreshing, driving paths need smoothing out and tee’s need leveling. It was hard on several holes to find a level place for your feet. Lots of dead tree’s need removal. It’s actually a fun course just looking its age.

This is a great course for beginners who are trying to do more than part 3 courses

For the price, decent course. Greens are good, tee boxes not great. Starter let several twosomes and single out that should have been paired up to speed up play.

Worst golf course I've ever played. The starter was rude; they overbooked, it took 5.5 hours to get through 18 holes. The course is overpriced, the tee boxes are atrocious, the fairways are horrible, and the greens are okay. I wouldn't recommend this course to my worst enemy. I almost asked for a refund. I'm serious.
