Palm Desert Resort Country Club

As always, a nice round of golf on a well cared for golf course.

Played this a few times duirng our vacation. Beautiful course. Rough is mostly desert, native area or dormant grass. Nice variety of tees once you figure out what fits your skill level. Starts simple but be aware of water that is not immediately visible on 5 and 14. There are a few holes that offer a real challenge 6,14 and 18. They are all beautiful holes with an approach over the water. Carts had to be back around 5 but we walked the last 3 holes. Finished with a tap in par in near darkness on 18!

Didn't use other amenities so I did not give a rating.

First time playing here and was pleasantly surprised at the conditions and playability of the course. Was sent an email alerting of a frost delay which was a nice touch of service. Well worth a try if the price fits your budget.

We made this reservation and had never played it before. We thought the course was decent. At $86/golfer probably fair compared to what the prices are now currently in the Cochella Valley.

The only hole that was really not fair to an average golfer was the 18th. Too long of carry from the Par 4 tees.

We were dying for water to drink on the course. No beverage cart and no water to refresh.

Played this course for the first time and really enjoyed it. Overall a fairly forgiving course but did have a few challenges. For the most part the flow of play was good but did back up with a couple of groups on the long par 3s. Played with a few vets in their late 70s/early 80s. Great group of guys that made me, as a guest, very welcome.

Will definitely play there again.

Like this course and in great shape. Pace slow. Delayed starts for early frost delays pushing back. Tee times after 1:00 likely means you won’t finish before dark.

Booked 2:00 time hoping to get 11-13 holes. Was lucky to finish 9 in dark. We counted 8 carts stacked up on a par 3. One of worst golf experiences in 45 years of golf.

Pace of play was good on the front nine but very slow on the back; there was 3 groups waiting to tee off on number 10 and it was like that the entire back 9. Greens and fairways were in great shape. The sand traps were very firm. Desert landscaping is nearly impossible to hit out of; either too soft or too hard.
