pretty nice summer conditions.
man in pro shop ( I'm embarrassed I don't know his name, been there for years) IS very professional and accommodating...greens were very acceptable and overall the course is in pretty good summertime condition

Playable
The condition of the course appears to be somewhat worn and in need of maintenance. It seems likely that the course is currently transitioning between seasons, possibly from colder to warmer weather, which may be contributing to its current state. The greens were noticeably dry and uneven, resulting in a bumpy putting surface. Similarly, the fairways were quite dry, with several areas reduced to bare patches of dirt rather than maintained grass.
Despite the less-than-ideal course conditions, one positive aspect is that the course is not heavily trafficked. As a result, it’s generally easy to book a tee time and complete a round in a reasonable amount of time without feeling rushed or delayed by groups ahead.
While the course may not be in peak condition at the moment, it could still be a worthwhile option for those prioritizing pace of play over pristine turf quality.

Great staff, good golf, limited services
Staff was very accommodating and friendly - heard restaurant was good but on the day of play all they had was hotdogs - disappointing because we wanted to have a nice late lunch after golf. Settled for a drink and moved on. I will play again when I’m back in town.

A very friendly course with lots of water features
Palm Desert Country Club is a beautiful layout very friendly and the greens were amazing. I’m sure they are.best greens in the desert. I really enjoyed playing there and and looking forward to playing there again soon

Good but not great
Greens were in great condition. Fairways were nice. Someone used the wrong sand down the fairways so don’t hit out the sand unless you want to ruin a club. Overall I’d play again
