Golfer Reviews
Open field
Had a great time playing with my boys! It was very hot, but a great time none the less.
The golf course is pretty wide open, so even miss hits were still okay.
Great value and course to play. I would definitely go back, but maybe when it’s not so hot.
Good course. Needs some TLC
For the summer value this was a good course but this is no frills. No beverage cart, no snack bar at the turn, just you and the golf course.
The course is in decent condition but could use some TLC. the sand traps are brutal and they need to be weeded around the edges. Tee boxes are in horrible shape, and the greens are bumpy and inconsistent.
A Great Deal
The course was fine for the desert in the middle of July, and the Golf Pass deal combined with the course's great rate couldn't be beat anywhere.
Best course for your buck
This course is so fun and the best greens for your dollar right now in La Quinta. Pro shop was clean and full all golfer needs. The staff is the friendliest and most down to earth people I have met on my golf journey. The staff makes you feel comfortable and could not be any more personable.
Gonna make this my home course.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I want to mention the young man working the golf carts. He did a great job. I can tell that he’s a hard-working young man, very helpful.
California Golf
1st time playing the course, got paired with a single whom was from orange county,(charlie) he played the course many years ago so he was a great guide and helped out with some placement of shots through out the course, was i good shape, really the course was wide open, not many out golfing early which was nice and made my wife comfortable , had a great time.

Below average course.
Below average conditions. Would be good for a beginner golfer. Not a vacation course.
First Time
Great course for someone new to golf, lots of bunkers and wide fairways. The staff was friendly and happy assist.
Boy what a waste
This course is extremely basic. Save for some badly placed unkept bunkers. The first few holes were green but that ended quickly. Very dry, very dead fairways. Overall condition of the greens were pretty decent. Hitting off the fairways was like hitting off of solid ground. Nothing interesting about the entire course. Save for the fact that every hole was in the middle of a different neighborhood. So weird. Talked to a homeowner. And he said they stopped watering everything but the greens 2 weeks prior
Worst shape of a course I have ever played
Holes 10-14 had no water and were completely burnt out totally brown. Greens were ok. They casually mentioned they had a pump problem after I paid. I did not have high expectations but the course was awful
very slow
Played on a hot day and the round lasted over 5 hours. No marshal on the course. Several holes burned out (10-12). No sand in the bunkers. Greens were good, generally
The course could be excellent if maintained better and there was someone monitoring speed of play.
Go Elsewhere.
We are visiting from other states. Getting a T-time on a Saturday was challenging but we chose this course based on other reviews. Pace of slow was painful. We were behind a five ball that would not allow us to play through. They were behind several other groups that were initially backed up, but slowly cleared. The “driving range” is a net with two very worn mats. Chipping area was ok, as was putting practice area. Some of the greens were healthy but most were not. The course is spread out over an older neighborhood. The fairway grass was mostly dead and hard as rock. We paid $65 each when $35-40 would have been fairer. If you can, spend more and go elsewhere. We wish we had.
Poor Course and Service
This course isn't worth the time or money. The course isn't very interesting (shape, landscape), greens are not in good shape, and and the staff (outdoor services, turn house/dining room service) was poor. Skip it.
Good value
Greens are in excellent condition, pace of play was good
Great course
Greens were in good shape
Fairways are not kept up with irrigation
I guess this is there spring summer
