Palm Desert Resort Country Club

This is a nice course for the average recreational golfer. It's not too hard, sort of forgiving. The fairway and greens were in decent shape considering it's the summer. Some of the Greens were actually in great shape, a few of them had some smaller burnt spots. I like that they have a little ball & club wash thing on the cart.

One Problem... The 9th & 18th holes are closed. They're replacing the bottom (waterproof tarp?) at the bottom of the lake/pond. I think they'll finish this in a month or two. They're let you replay holes 1 & 2 so you get 18.

9th & 18th holes closed. There was a warning when I made online reservation that holes would be closed up until June 15th, but I played a full week later. Those holes aren’t even close to opening. Several times I was playing off dirt in the middle of the fairway.

9 and 18 were closed. The construction was supposed to be completed by 6/14, (we played 6/22). according to the website. Great rate, but I would have liked to experience the full 18.

Place is going down hill. Greens are terrible, fairways are spotty. No one let you know that hole 9 and 18 were closed for construction.

Two holes closed. Course is mostly dry. Great potential once they get it fixed up.

The course only has 16 open holes, is burned out completely, and the greens were punched a week ago, and many of them with very little grass on them, mostly dirt. I like the layout of the course and it would have been fun had it been in better condition, but it isn't in good shape at all. I would recommend this course if the condition improves.
