Palm Desert Country Club

Golf course was very dry. The sand traps lacked sand. Course play was fine because there was not a lot of people there. The clubhouse did not have any amenities. The snack shop and bar were closed for the summer. There was also no cart girl. The starter and cart guy were friendly. The greens were in decent shape. Course zigzags throughout a neighborhood so you do take some streets to get to different holes. All and all, an OK experience. I think there are a lot of other golf courses to play that are nicer and have more amenities in the area.

Due to early heat wave course conditions werent as good as expected. Fun track to play when in good shape.

Course looked like it’ hasn’t had a drop of water on it in months. Greens dried, bumpy and so dry they’re cracking. Had to change carts twice because they barely run. Not enjoyable experience

The course was in really bad condition. For the price you can definitely play somewhere with better condition. The course was worst than the LA County courses I play usually back in LA

The course is in really bad condition. Too many bald spots on the tee box, fairway and fringe. I play the LA county courses, and this one makes those courses look like country club courses. Wouldn't play it again unless it was free.

This would be a fun course if there was sand in the bunkers and only one type of grass on the fairways, lot of weeds ! This course in the condition that it's in should cost no more than $30.00 a round. Most courses in the valley are over priced. makes me think of the series breaking bad. could be the car wash laundering money. seams the golfers are more of a pain ,instead of great deals to get more players.

Got paired with long time member "Ron" and he and I buzzed around in less than 2.5 hours. Greens were quick and fairways were tight and a little brownish, but the course was in very good hot weather shape overall. Was a hot deal and I also redeemed a bunch of points so it was super cheap to play - pre COVID almost ....

Enjoyed the round very much (despite my poor iron play) and would recommend the course if you are in the market for a round at this price point or even a few bucks more!

Great shape. Nice layout. Switching over to the new summer greens but still a great deal. Will be back.

If you enjoy older courses with character like I do, then this is for you.

I was surprised how nice a day I had on this course... Much pricier courses nearby are more crowded and the play partners aren't as pleasant. I found both at Palm Desert CC to be very accommodating and friendly. I'd play this course again any time for this price.

This was the second time I've played this course. After the first time, I had decided to not play it again. The first time I found the course to be in fair to poor condition. Greens were poor and the fairways not much better. I decided to play it again, and I was amazed at how conditions had improved. Greens were smooth and fast, and the fairways were excellent. The area surrounding the golf course appears "run down", and it detracts from the overall experience there. Staff was excellent. Friendly welcoming and helpfull, I will be back.

Everything was perfect only thing that was missing was cart service on. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday but still had an amazing time.

Course layout is nice. Our Westsiders Golf Club play Desert Willow & PDCC every year in March. Big fairways & greens in great shape. Was bummed no driving range, just a couple driving nets. But they did have a large pitching area (larger then most courses).. and putting green.

Start out with two par 5's ... 2nd hole is a birdie hole. front nine is fair...back nine is a little tougher. Holes 9 & 18 are together & signature holes. Great views throughout the course on

9/18 holes & 12th tee box. Rated best muni course in Coachella Valley.

Restaurant is really good & have entertainment on friday/saturday nights. Starter Dave is super & bartender is great.
