Palm Royale Country Club

Tried to get off an early round on a Tuesday night thinking no one would be on the course. Starter in the pro shop was great and let me go off early. He warned me there is som construction being conducted by the water district. No big deal. Let’s talk about the greens. Rock hard. They play more line pool tables than greens. After hole 5 the mowers descended on the course and between them and the construction work, the course was anything but peaceful. Actually should have brought noise canceling headphones. Glad the price was cheap, because this was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at this course. Won’t be back this summer, which is disappointing as this is a great little course for the short game.

Play as early as 7am to beat the heat. Best walking course to get some exercise and shout out to Dave on the front desk. Enjoy it alone or with your friends.

We played on a hot afternoon and it was still so much fun. I played a Monday and Wednesday and loved each round especially for $20 so much fun. Playing again this week. Just a fun relatively easy course to just sharpen your skills on. Great for the budget and just to get out

Easy to walk. Fun and just challenging enough to do on a weekday. Playing agin this week. Especially for the price and I love 2 miles away

It is good for short game you can improve your short game

I have played this little par 3 course the past three years when I have visited the Palm Springs area. It is easy to walk and is well maintained. It helps me to work on my short game. I enjoy it.

Friendly staff and great little course to work on your short game. Some challenging water shots, Tee boxes and greens were in good condition.

Plus nice to walk it and get my steps in!

This is my go to course until yesterday. I’m a full time resident in the valley, and I was shocked to see the grounds covered in patchy dried greens, no maintenance on vegetation around the properties. I was totally shocked. It was until recently immaculate…not anymore. Such a disappointment. I told the new pro shop manager and he didn’t want to hear me out…he can’t see how awful the course is. If I owned property there I’d be in an uproar.

This is a fun little par 3 course, I usually play late afternoon so it’s not too packed. Good for some short game practice. My only complaints are that a lot of people don’t fill their divots or ball marks on the greens. Also it seems the residents there practice on a few of the holes in particular and they sort of tear up the tee boxes and greens. If you can stand the heat I would suggest going in the off season.

Ok course, but really short and the holes are packed really tightly together - often times the tee box is right next to the prior hole's green. Many holes are sub-100 yards, which is fine if that's what you're looking for, but it got a little boring hitting the same club every time.

Very cool par 3 course with alot of picturesque hole. Greens and fairway were good. Pace of play was.good. the only thing was that everything was close before we finish. It would been nice to able get some water and go to bathroom before.leaving.
