Reviews
Great value
Great little 27 hole course for the value. Would play this course again. Wonderful greens.
Decent Course, Confusing layout
I like that no holes run parallel or adjacent to another hole. Conditions were pretty good, however This course is very confusing and you play every hole blind. No maps on the cart or scorecard. We used a GPS app but service was spotty and not accurate. Turnberry was straightforward and easy to play, sawgrass is extremely tight fairways, lots of water, and the out of bounds/tree lines are like 10 ft off the fairway so you must stay on the fairway to the green or you’re losing balls and taking drop penalties. Also houses back RIGHT up to the edge of fairways no fences just cages & landscaping eating your ball. Make sure to follow all signs when driving between holes very closely or you’ll end up at the wrong hole especially driving to sawgrass you have to go thru and entire neighborhood with a turnoff onto a small trail to get to #1.
Great little course
Myself and my Friend from Scotland 🏴 played this on Friday, this was our first time playing the course, we found the course in good condition and a great layout. We are on vacation staying on Siesta Key so will definitely be back to play….

Great place to play. Staff was very friendly. Course was in great condition.
Needs some TLC
Nice layout. Some greens have been resodded in
spots and the sod is not taking like it should.
Very good considering they just endured 2 Hurricanes
They have been working very hard at restoring the course. Hurricane damage was extensive. Course was very playable and in good condition.
Post Milton
My wife and I golf the course one week after Milton came through. The course was in a rough shape, but I really can’t give a bad or good review. There was a lot of debris. I will go back sometime in the future and give the review the course deserves.
Challenging Water holes
Staff was friendly and courteous. Course was excellent condition a week after a hurricane.
Have not played it before? Go somewhere else!
This is an average course but a terrible choice if you're visiting or you've never played it before. There's no diagram of the holes on the cards or anywhere else, so you're hitting blind off the tees on many holes. Some, like #8 on Gleneagles, in fact you're teeing off uphill totally blind -- with sand plus a lake at the top blocking the green. Other holes have a creek across the fairway, blind hills, or hidden water just past the green if you shoot a little long. Course management? Strategy? Forget it. It's very clubby and they say it used to be a strictly private course, so the management sees no need to give a map for first time players or "outsiders." If I was a tourist or someone looking for a different course, I'd skip this place. It's a bit pricy. And some of the greens are not the greatest. You can do better.
Nice layout
Course was in decent shape considering the amount of rain we've had. Some of the greens were a little rough but all in all we enjoyed the course.
Enjoyable course
Overall we enjoyed the course. Gleneagles had about 3 greens had a little damage to them and the tee boxes were a little beat up. But the grounds crew is doing their best to get it back in playable condition. I’m sure the wet conditions in the area is not helping out. The course was damp but expected with the amount of rain in the area. Turnberry was a great course laid out very nice and a little challenging. Had one green that had a little damage but it looked like that damage was probably caused by players that won’t take the time to repair their ball marks. Pace was great until the 16 holes where we came up on a foursome of two older men and women. The women were standing around talking before and after they hit their shots. The course was a great place to place. Likely will return when it dries out a bit.
Decent Fla summer course conditions. Greens were slow
with some sand or whatever still on them, but more than acceptable with the hot deal. Staff was great!
