About
Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Golfer Reviews
Pls do better.
Get to the course and they are only playing the front 9. They just punched the greens on front the day before. ( no mention in GN app ). Cart GPS wouldn't work, which isnt a big deal cause I use a range finder, but would of been nice to see the course hazards. Scenery was nice. Fairways in good condition. The rough was rough, thick grass clippings not blown or picked up.
Not what I expected.
I paid to play the full 18 hole course and end up having to play the front 9 twice and the green were punch. Wish all this would have been disclose before I make the purchase. Next time I'm visiting, I will call them. The only thing that was excellent was the cool overcast weather instead 100 plus temperature.
More information needed
GolfNow and Aliante did not communicate the reason for the discount. Front line was closed so they had it set up for playing the back nine twice. This was my first time and I wanted to see this course in its entirety they did however give me a rain check to come back and play the front nine since I agreed to only play nine holes.
plugging the greens this week
Like the course in general, just plugging the greens this week
Good Course, Excellent Condition
The course layout was nothing special. Very flat with nice views of the mountains. The fairways were very wide, making the adjacent course side homes generally out of play. No hidden shots or forced carries, everything is straightforward. What you see is what you get. Greens are among the best in the Las Vegas area. people need to pick up their feet when they walk and stop damaging the greens. Some complained the green speed was inconsistent. That was not my experience. I should have putted better, but it was NOT the fault of the greens. They rolled true. Playing time at 10:30 am was 4.5 hours. The heat was intense...like 112 degrees. Only saw the beverage cart once in 4.5 hours. Stock up before you head out.
You must play this course!!!!
Vacationing from NC to Vegas. It’s hard to find good courses that don’t add the out of town surcharge for golf. This course doesn’t do that not to mention the course was in excellent condition. The greens were manicured and rolled true. It’s July so of course it was hot but a 105 degree Vegas day is a lot better than a 90 degree NC day with humidity any day. I even shot my personal best 78 for the round. Not to mention the views are incredible. Definitely on the consideration list for a golf trip next year.
Good conditions
Greta shape. Pace was a challenge. Waited on every tee box. And every approach shot. Sometimes stacked two groups deep. Took 3 hours on the back. Yikes. Great shape though.
Fun course but slow pace
We started 10 minutes late because a group was in the bar. By the time we got through nine we had already been there 2 1/2 hours. Other than that the course was in pretty good condition and the beer cart guy was very friendly.
Great Views, Slow Play
This course has some of the greatest views you can get in Vegas. It was also in decent shape. I think there were a lot of walk-ons because their tee times showed the afternoon wide open. They don’t really adjust those open slots for the walk-ons so the course was full and slow even though their tee times online showed differently. Because of that, the pace of play was pretty slow. We had to rush through the last couple holes to make sure we were able to finish before sunset. I stopped looking at the clock when we hit 5 hours of play and still weren’t done.
