About
Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Traffic jam
No reason we should have 3 tee times at a tee box. Tee times need to be more spread out. We’re about to finish after 5.5hrs!
Slow motion play
Course play was at a snail pace. Mismanagement of tee times had three groups ahead of us.
Too slow to enjoy
Ended up only playing the front 9 holes as pace was so slow. No marshalls to hurry play along and 1 hour for 3 holes and 2 hours for 6 holes tells its own story.
The course was about to be seeded and it wasnt in best of conditions.
Try elsewhere in future.
Nice staff
Leonard was nice at the cart return.
He asked about my round and shook hands, all with a smile.
All of the staff was helpful and friendly.
Pace was slow even for a Sunday
Course was in decent condition, just enough challenge in the well guarded greens. Greens ran pretty true.
Pace of play was not good. A 5 hour round sucks. Luckily I play with a group of guys that ALWAYS has a great time.
Pretty good all around experience
Only issue. No range balls - showed up an hour early and they couldn’t get range balls.
Great layout - Marshall missing in action .
Great course . Varied holes and distances. Need more pace of play Marshall help.
Best course conditions I've seen in a really long time.
The condition of the course was so good. It's the start of August and the track was pristine. I couldn't believe how good the fairways and greens were.
Aliante Golf course
Overall good course. Not very difficult but enough challenges. The bunkers needed work. We only saw the cart GUY once, it was hot!!!
The starter was a little too overbearing. The snack bar attendant was very pleasant. The golf shop had its fair share of merchandise. The driving range was matts only, the golf balls were not in very good shape. For a city owned course it’s very nice. If I had better options of where to play, I would seek those out.
Aliante for the WIN
Aliante is in great shape! The greens are soft, the fairways are green, and the rough is long. Pace of play was smooth, and the course offers plenty of shade to help escape the hot weather! This is my favorite course to play for the cost!!!
Best condition
The course is great condition. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens. I play here often it’s the best conditions highly recommend
Great Track!
I was pleasantly surprised when I played this course for the first time. I’m an avid golfer and found the course challenging yet very fair.
The fairways and greens were in SUPERB condition, KUDOS to the superintendent.
The golf & restaurant staff were great also.
Will DEFINITELY play this course again!
Great course, great value
The course was in great shape. The greens were soft, and the flow of play was terrific. I would definitely play here again.
