Aliante Golf Course

First time here and it was well worth the drive from the strip. We got a killer hot deal for $45, besides the bunkers being typical Vegas compacted, hard crappy sand, the rest of the conditions were surprisingly fantastic, especially the greens! Layout was great too, highly recommend.

The course was is good shape, the greens were very receptive and rolled nicely. There was a tournament ahead of us so no carts were available until 20 mins pass our tee time.

Once we started the pace of play was decent, 4h30.

I would play again at this course.

First time playing this course just across the street from Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas. Check in was quick and off to the range. Paid $9 for a medium bucket of balls, the range was very nice, grass hitting areas, no mats. Putting green adjacent to range was large and speed of the green matched the greens on the course. Course has 4 different teeing areas and if you play the correct tees for your skill level the course is not that difficult. The fairways were in very good condition slightly firm and gave you a nice run out if you hit the fairway with some nice thick rough to catch your errant tee shots. The greens were very smooth with subtle breaks to them, if you have a down hiller pay attention because the putts can run well by. Sand traps were a little thin, they could use a bit more sand but were playable. The staff from the check in desk, starter and cart guy at the end were all friendly. Got a hot deal for almost half off the non resident rate so that was a huge plus. This course was good enough that I would pay the higher rate to play here. Aliante was a great golfing experience, I highly recommend and plan on playing it again on future trips to Vegas.

Fairways, tee boxes and greens are in good condition. Greens ran true.

Hats off to the architect and designer of the course. Very friendly for high handicapper. Will definitely return for play.

Course is in excellent condition. Greens hold , rough is reasonably penal , bunkers ok ( not great ).. Fairways in great shape. Tee boxes need work…. very uneven. Good value though for the $$$.

Arrived after a HEAVY rain shower and slipped over on the very smooth paving outside the pro shop. You have been warned!

Good price from golf now so nothing to pay in the pro shop but the staff were friendly and helpful on this occasion.

Practice facilities were great and the putting green was superb and promised much.

Teeing grounds were a little bare but playable. Fairways were beautiful and easy to play from.

The greens on the course had been sanded and we had no idea based on the information on GolfNow, from the pro shop team or from the practice green. Disappointed is an understatement but what made it worse that every green had an abundance of ball marks on them from lazy people who couldn't be bothered to look after the course. A REAL SHAME.

After the game we queried the state of the greens with a different guy in the pro shop.and he said that they hadn't told Golf Now about the sanding. If they had we could have taken this into consideration when deciding whether to play or not.

Having said all that we would play the course again especially if the greens were as good as the practice green.
