Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Good Value
Course is in excellent condition. Greens hold , rough is reasonably penal , bunkers ok ( not great ).. Fairways in great shape. Tee boxes need work…. very uneven. Good value though for the $$$.
Good but could have been GREAT
Arrived after a HEAVY rain shower and slipped over on the very smooth paving outside the pro shop. You have been warned!
Good price from golf now so nothing to pay in the pro shop but the staff were friendly and helpful on this occasion.
Practice facilities were great and the putting green was superb and promised much.
Teeing grounds were a little bare but playable. Fairways were beautiful and easy to play from.
The greens on the course had been sanded and we had no idea based on the information on GolfNow, from the pro shop team or from the practice green. Disappointed is an understatement but what made it worse that every green had an abundance of ball marks on them from lazy people who couldn't be bothered to look after the course. A REAL SHAME.
After the game we queried the state of the greens with a different guy in the pro shop.and he said that they hadn't told Golf Now about the sanding. If they had we could have taken this into consideration when deciding whether to play or not.
Having said all that we would play the course again especially if the greens were as good as the practice green.
It was a nice 110 degree day, but it’s a “ dry heat”

Nice Surprise
Course was in great shape, Greens weren't fast but not slow and fun to play. For a single handicap player I had a great time.
Great Value
Fantastic course, not very busy played as a 2, course in fantastic conditions, greens had recently sanded but still very true and faster than all the sumnerlin courses. It is heavily played by retires so that will affect pace of play. Not sure why ready golf and pulling the cart clise to your ball on the fairway is foreign to golfers in there 70s and 80s. One of the best condition course we have played in Vegas. It has a casino next door food at the Cafe don't recommend but the casino is nice
GPS won't get you to the course but the pro shop is super friendly and got us to the location while ge stayed on the phone- his choice
The greens were mushy and slow. Bunkers were way too difficult for the caliber of play at the course.
No Front 9
Arrived to discover front 9 was closed due to flooding! Not offered discount! Pace of play extremely slow! No marshal seen on course!!
Won’t play again!!
Great layout, great staff, great conditions
Course was in awesome condition, especially for the constant heat in Vegas. Staff was super nice and helpful as well. Would definitely play here again

I have been playing this course over the past 6 years and this is best condition the course has ever been. Greens, fairways bunkers and tee boxes excellent.
One of the best values and courses in the city!
I can’t say enough about the conditions and the staff here. Always top notch and always a great round. The only complaint I have is they are in serious need of new carts. They’re the WORST in the city! The one I had was like driving a 1980s car with no power steering! Wasn’t sure it would make the full round too it would really really bog down going up hill, and the two of us are both under 200 pounds easily!
