Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

Finally they got the course into shape
Fairways were green and the course condition overall was very good.
Great staff and good value, I’ll be back for sure
I had a very pleasant first outing at Alicante golf club. The course was in decent condition considering it was 100+ degrees. The greens putted very nicely.
The standouts for me were the employees. When I checked in the gentleman working in the Pro shop was GENUINELY cordial and that was something that continued on until we left the course. The starter made sure we were well informed of the layout… at the turn, the bartender was genuinely. engaging with “the regulars” but didn’t ignore me and my 14 yr old nephew just trying to get a hot dog. She rocked it! When we were departing, Kai really closed the experience how I would expect. As he was cleaning my clubs he made sure to ask for some details about the round, and most importantly… our intent to return. It seems like they understand that good quality service is a part of the round. It really enhanced my experience and for that, I will come back… even when your rates inevitably increase.
Greens
Greens and fairways are in great shape.
Poor follow up
Good course with good staff.
Complained about twosome getting in front of us with only one set of clubs. Got a poor explanation and no solution. Slow play that was unnecessary.
Very tight crab grass fairways
ALL fairways are very tight with crabgrass. The hard base greens were in ok condition but cannot hold a ball or tough to get any action on the ball. We paid $50 on a HOT DEAL tee time. I would never pay anything more than $35 to play this course again. $50 is not a good value for this course. Sorry about my honesty but it is what it is. Thank you
Decent course
Aliante could do a better job of keeping up the fairways. Lots of dirt patches, very thin yellow grass.
They should be open at sunrise instead of 1 hour after.
They should use an automatic range ball dispenser instead of having to wait an hour after sunrise, then they sell the last range balls 1 hour before sunset.
Warm up range ball $5. Should be free if you have a tee time.
Sunday Golf
Course was on fair to good shape. Greens rolled well and tee boxes and fairways in good condition.

Good range, no real frills, but good value and good greens
