Harmony Golf Preserve
About
Located southeast of downtown Orlando and about 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport, Harmony Golf Preserve is a secluded championship golf course set on 260-acre wildlife preserve and is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Rated a Top 50 Public golf course in the Golf World Readers' Choice for 2010, the course was designed by Johnny Miller and is difficult enough from the championship tees to have hosted the 2007 Hooters Tour Michelob Ultra Classic, but features five sets of tee boxes. Harmony Golf Preserve is home to a full practice facility and driving range, full service dining in the Harmony Town Tavern, full locker room and shower facilities, as well as banquet facilities for large groups.

Needs a lot of work
The greens were really bad on certain holes. Just about every fairway was playing in a wild field. Sand traps where water logged and and felt like concrete. For $60 and a 40 minute drive with 91° weather, this course needs a lot of work to get my money again.
Nice round
The staff was great, the lady at the clubhouse is a rockstar. Got paired with 2 other golfers, had a great time. The owners are letting this course go, horrible greens and fairways. I booked a hot deal on GolfNow still not worth the price. Sell it or fix it
Bad Greens
Course has dropped rates since May 1st but conditions of greens were awful, they have not been mowed properly so were SSLLOOWWW!! had to hit a ten foot putt harder than a twenty foot putt at most other courses, played here 6 months ago and the conditions were way better, sad!!
Fast round at a decent price
I’ve played this course over the years and found it to be fun round. Right now the greens are in need of care but rain will fix that. Pace was fast and I’ll be back.
Great layout
I enjoyed playing this course, enjoyed the layout, the greens were a little rough but overall, great course.
The course is in terrible condition. Course needs alot of maintenance.
Looking a bit rough
Perhaps because of the drought afflicting central Florida these days, but the fairways are looking water-starved and the greens have many dead and dessicated patches. Putting is an even greater challenge under such conditions.
Greens were horrible, bad deal for the money paid.
Greens need major repair
The course has a great layout, but the greens need a major overhaul
Course in decline
Only course that didn’t rebound after Florida’s freeze
STIMPMETER - 51/2
Problems on every green … can’t take it the course serious
Right now . They did offer a rain check which I was very appreciative.
They promised they were going to get the course restored in two months . I would be surprised.
They have clearly thrown in the towel.
Conditions have deteriorated so far that I hope something will be announced soon. What’s the growth that is happening in this area? It seems like the owners are operating this course with the goal of closing it and selling the land to build houses. I hope it’s the opposite and they’re just letting it go so that way they’re not wasting money before a big renovation. Either way, I cannot currently recommend this course to anyone at any level of the game if you get any enjoyment from looking at a well conditioned golf course.. The conditions are completely unplayable with the shaggy greens littered with craters and bare spots, fairways are indistinguishable from the rough and tee boxes are barren wastelands.
May Review
67 dollars for 18 holes , greens were horrible in 80% of holes , fairways were fair. To expensive for green conditions , I get it season just finished and everyone destroyed the course but quit charging us locals almost 70 dollars when course is torn up after season , I drive past course and it appears to be amazing, we weren’t amazed due to greens
Mick
Course is in horrible condition. Greens are awful. Not worth $10. Played here for 8 years in 90s, 2000s. What a shame.
Hidden Gem
This course was recommended to us and we were thinking it was a bit far from where we were near Disney but was easy journey straight off 192.
Great welcome from the staff, Steve and Brenda both really helpful and nice to see added touches like ice in the buggy 👍
Course is really nice, great layout and considering the winter storms the course is in very good condition compared to others we have played. Whilst greens still recovering they are easily playable. Beautiful setting and wildlife would strongly recommend a visit.
terrible
Worst greens I've played on in 45 years. Course should have been closed. A great track is ruined, course layout is outstanding. Have played here probably 50-75 times since it opened. So disappointed. The best turf on the whole course was the driving range. Have worked part time at various local courses for years- from cutting cups to the pro shop and most everything in between.Never have I seen greens this bad. I think there was 1 that was maybe 70% grass, the rest had maybe 2 places available for pin placement, with actual grass for maybe 10 yards surrounding cup. Their greens are fairly large also. Greens bare, and what wasn't was closely mowed bumpy weeds, dirt was the predominant feature of all of them.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME HERE. SAD SAD SAD
Greens are gone.
Worst greens conditions I’ve ever seen. More dirt and sand than anything. The guy in the pro shop is rude also.
greens are ALL dead
Thought they were going out of business. But I talked to one of the staff and he said no. The course overall minus the greens is in good shape. Someone there somehow managed to kill off ALL the greens. That invlthe practice green. They damaged them so well that it is not just dead on top but the turf underneath gone. Best to stay away for at least 6 months. Some of the greens are going to need total rebuilds.
Very poor Condition
I am not sure I have played a course with Greens as poor as the one's at Harmony Preserve were April 23rd 2026. I have played for more than 30 years and to drive an hour one way to play this course was such a dissapointment , it is really hard to comprehend. No one apologized prior to us even going out ....most golf courses I have played would be shut down if the greens were that poor and basically unplayable ....I have played here before when it was maintianed and it was a pleasure to play but in the condition it is in right now I would remove it as an offering on Golf Now!!
Haarmony
Staff are top notch. Everything was great except greens. The staff tell you up front that they got hit hard by the freeze and they are correct.
