Really not worth it
I really expected more. The course plays fair and the tee boxes were great. Greens were terrible. Inconsistent speeds and shaggy.
I won't play here again. Not for $95

Good value for ~$50
Course is in good shape but pace of play is a bit slow. However, it’s a holiday weekend so that’s to be expected a bit.

Filling in Nicely
This course is fun with a great layout. Greens still recovering from aeration and the winter play. Not the best condition it has ever been in but very enjoyable round. Right now I wouldn’t pay top price for it but if you can get a deal certainly worth it.
Carts are some of the best around and staff was extremely nice!

What Happened?
Bear’s Best is a shadow of it’s former self. Fairways are full of weeds, greens are terrible, and the starter got us off to a bad start. We were playing the first hole, on the green, when he came and informed us he accidentally sent us out too early. I used to love the course, but today was not what I’m accustomed to.

Great layout, conditions OK
Extremely friendly staff and folks I paired up were members and really nice. Course layout was as expected, a lot of bunkers, free flowing, not too much water, difficult yet manageable. Tee boxes in good condition. Fairways could use more lush grass, hard to hit off fairways other than a few holes where the ball sat up and nice. Greens had been recently aerated which was disappointing but not as disappointing as my tee shots. Good value at $40.

It was just ok
It was ummm ok. Friendly staff and the layout was nice. Greens were recently punched the guys played with didn't tell me that I would've said no maybe. But the pace of play OMG four laughing ladies in front of us on the front nine and the two behind us had a guy on a cart I'm guessing a Manager told us let them play through so now we're on them! Now wow factor for the price I paid.

I was expecting more from this course.
I was figured this would be a top notch course to match the ridiculously high prices...however it is very average and surprisingly not very well kept. This course should priced at no more than $30-$35. Play St. Marlo instead. Way better value.

Disappointing
The course was in bad shape. The fairways had.verylittle grass. It was like hitting off hard dirt so hitting a wedge was the fairway was not easy.
