Bear's Best Atlanta

We teed off and played in 3 hrs 40 mins as a foursome. Fastest I have ever played Bear's Best. Greens were aerated over a week ago so they were still little bumpy. Otherwise, the place was in great shape.

Maybe one person to cart is the trick to faster play?

I have played Bears Best numerous times and have never been disappointed in the condition of the course. Always in top-notch condition. I look for deals on GolfNow to afford the course which can be expensive at times. Bears Best is one of my favorite courses in the North Metro Atlanta area.

Besides the aerated greens, the course is in great condition

Top of the line golf course from security guard at gate; to pro shop; to range facilities; to the golf course it self! Great golfing experience! Zero complaints! All good.

The course is so nice and has some great holes from around the world. A challenging and fun layout in my top 5 that I have played. They just areaited the greens but they still roll true right now. Just sandy. It is a very hard course to walk though

I am not a member so only play this course maybe once a year when I can a deal. It’s always a treat. Great layout, great conditions. If only I could avoid all the sand.

We absolutely loved our golf experience. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.. The course is beautiful and fun to play.

We have played Bears Best numerous times over the years. It is always in decent shape. Given the tremendous amount of rain we have had this winter, it is still in pretty good shape! Most of the tee boxes seem worn and sparse, but will probably improve as it warms up. The fairways are in great shape with only a few random weeds. The greens are really good, but rolled slower than expected, which based on my score, I never really adjusted to :(. The staff was very friendly, and they are doing so many things to make it safe - wiping down carts after each round, providing wipes to wipe down more if you want to, washing practice balls w/soap, asking players to not remove flag sticks, wiping down pens and desk area in pro shop regularly, etc. One action we hope they continue even after necessary is inverting the ball cup on each hole. It was really neat just picking your ball up next to the flag instead of having to reach down into the sometimes damp, dirty cup to retrieve your ball! The pace of play was the best we’ve ever played at Bears Best, just around 4 hrs for a foursome! So, get outside, go have fun, in the safe environment of Bears Best!

Enjoyed my first round of the year at Bear's Best. The staff was prompt and courteous. The course was somewhat humid, but not soggy. The greens were nicely groomed and kept. Ejoyed the round very much! Strongly recommend the course to all!

As always-fantastic layout and well kept considering the conditions the area has had in this winter.

Greens were disappointing as I thought they would be further along in replenishing. Challenging course as always and a blast to play for a steal of a value today.

even the weather was cold that day but we still felt warm at the course during the play. The hole number three is favorite hole of the course. the course is in good shape. The staffs are very friendly. The male amenities are fantastic, but my mom said that there is no shower place in female locker room. I think that is the only thing you can complain about the club, and there is nothing for you to complain about the course and the experience of golfing!

It is a great course to play on: great design, challenging but fair. Greens roll well and we’ll maintained. Also the view of the beautiful homes is a treat!

It had been raining hard the week before and the greens became a little soft, unfortunately, ball marks that don’t get fixed became noticeable.

Not the fault of the course but from players who don’t care about players who play after them!
