Bear's Best Atlanta

With a 4:20 tee time you would think the course would have some food to offer for dinner ? but no, only food available were bag of chips or over priced flavorde beef jerky. supposedly, the kitchen closes at 4;00 pm.

We start and on hole one, cart lady drives up and says this is my last round of u want anything …. really hot and no water anywhere on the course but clubhouse.

lastly, we started getting spammed alarm to finish by 8:15 pm as the course is closing, even tho, it is still light out ? just wondering what or who is managing this place?

This was my second time playing this course and I really enjoyed it!! Challenging but fair! Par 3s are very fun

WOW! The greens were super fun to putt on. The greens keepers have done a fantastic job.This course costs more to play because it has better course conditions and a better layout than it's competitors and it is worth it.

I called ahead to make sure that the course was in good condition and it was. I definitely feel like my money was well spent.

The course was well maintained. Staff was friendly. It made for a great round of golf.

This was our first time playing here. There was a ton of ball marks on the greens that were not repaired by golfer or the staff. We spent extra time not only fixing ours but others. Course was a little over played. Some of the tee boxes were in rough shape. Where we usually play is $105 on the weekend and it’s always in immaculate shape. Price was a little high for conditions. We also never saw a beverage cart the entire round. $140 was not worth it. Otherwise we liked the layout. Could have been better.

The coursw was in good condition and the gameplay was enjoyable. I would see the value when getting a hot deal price, but would have trouble to justify full price.

There were 50 to 100 ball marks on every Green that were not fixed! Very bumpy and hard to puttt on every green! Kind of ruined a great day and what could’ve been a good round at a good course layout!

I've played Bear's Best for the last 5 years. The course is in absolute beautiful condidtion. The greens specifically were fantastic and it is noticible the money that has been invested into other areas such as the golf carts, gps, sand traps, and the practice facilities. Even the tee boxes were awesome (Many other local clubs struggling here).

Side note, the staff was friendly, we played in under 4 hours and the range balls that are included were generous - its a challenge to hit them all. Definitely recommend for a round with the boys or a great place to host a client or event.

Staff were attentive and brought sandwich (which was fantastic) to me on the course, fairways and greens in great shape it was sad to see ball marks not fixed by players. Well worth it during the week!

Course was excellent. Everything was in great shape even with a ton of rain we were able to take carts onto the fairways.

Our GPS kept telling us we were way behind on pace of play, but no marshalls ever came out to speed anyone up. The group in front of us was 3 holes behind be the 14th hole.

It’s because it’s overpriced, slow as heck, and the staff are rude.

Avoid at all costs paying full price on the weekend.

Great course

BB is one of my favorite tracks, but today's course conditions were subpar. BB needs to step it up. The value for the money is not there. The greens were average at best. I thought Covid was over. Players need to rake a bunker. I would love to catch someone in front of me not raking a bunker. Some areas need to be resodded. I would never play earlier for $143.00. No way! I should have taken some pictures of bare areas in front of greens and around greens.

I play here atleast two times a month. Course is always in great condition. Greens were punched and sanded a few weeks ago and the greens are looking great. Staff is great and the food and drinks are great as well. One of the only grass ranges around town which is awesome. Priced on the high side for a reason.

I like the course. I am disappointed in the course condition. In all fairness the course was wet but I expected better greens and the course to be in better shape. I have played a lot of the Golden Bears courses, and this was in the worst shape of any I have played.

I will try it again in a month or two to see if the condition has improved.

Almost every tee box needs to be redone. All the greens were slow and bumpy. Great course layout but it feels neglected. Way over priced for the course conditions.
