About
Located in the eastern half of Coachella Valley, Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta (formerly known as "Coral Mountain Golf Club" and "The Golf Club at La Quinta") has a scenic desert landscape that showcases the beauty of southern California. Opened in 2002, the club hosted the PGA Tour LG SKINS from 2003 to 2006, testing the skills of pros like Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, and Tiger Woods. The golf course is situated at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, offering scenic views and a hilly terrain that provides interesting undulations in the greens. The rugged desert is accented by lush oases of dramatic water features, which of course serve as challenging hazards. There are also bunkers bordering the fairways and rolling greens. The golf course can be as challenging or as gentle as you like with several tees available, including the SKINS tees, which play at nearly 7,200 yards.

Diamond in the Rough
Well, this golf course needs love and it could be great! Tee boxes were not level, Poor greens, fairways spotty, traps ok. No marshals anywhere, the cart person was out of most everything from when she started and it was 105 degrees, unacceptable period. You would think they would think about the players in 105 degrees and have drinks, snacks, towels etc. Shame on management!
Brand New
Course has been completely redone and is in phenomenal shape. Greens are perfect, challenging but pure. Pace of play was great and course has right level of difficulty
Happy at Trilogy
Enjoyed the course. Didn't find it particularly challenging but the layout is very nice and the condition of the course was excellent especially the new greens which were VERY firm and fast. Liked the Skins Game themed hole name (see pics). Some nice water holes. They have done a nice job reopening the course. Friendly staff & speedy golf carts. (No GPS however)

Great course and excellent conditions. It’s very challenging but very enjoyable.
The greens are in great shape and I love to play again.
Expensive considering...
No clubhouse, no restaurant, no one at bag drop, no beverage cart service. You pay an unfriendly starter for round.
We paid 130.00 for weekday rate, weekend rates (Fri-Sunday) are 170.00. Surrounding courses with ALL THOSE amenities are comparable in price.
WOW…what a find!
Simply put….LOVED THE COURSE!
Although it is a bit of a hike from Palm Springs….it was well worth the milage.
First time playing the course and I was immediately impressed.
The fairways were in great shape and the greens were firm with subtle breaks making the round very interesting but fun all around.
Highly recommend this course!
An awesome golf course!
We decided after playing all the PGA west courses that we would give Trilogy a try. What an incredible course! While the clubhouse is not open yet, the golf course is, and it’s amazing. Tee boxes, fairway, rough, greens, and bunkers were all pristine! Bring your range finder or GPS app because the carts have no electronics. Don’t miss this track!
Hidden gem
Probably the best greens to putt in terms speed and smoothness of all the top public courses in the desert. The bunkers were a little too fluffy for my liking but overall a really good course for the money. Trilogy is a hidden gem for a newly opened course in the desert.
